This establishment is situated within a very luxurious hotel; however, the restaurant itself was unexpectedly disappointing. The atmosphere resembled that of a school cafeteria, and the quality of the food was comparable. I recommend visiting a restaurant that offers fresh appetizers and entrees, rather than serving dishes that are only semi-edible.

We had such a great lunch at Rivera! The vibe is fun and relaxed with absolutely beautiful views — perfect for people watching by the beach. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the whole experience just felt like vacation. Can’t wait to come back! 🌴🍹

This is a decent place with a decent food. Especially for the touristic place with the one-time customers.
The place was empty (2 tables), but it took a lot of time for the salad, the main dish, and dessert. This is a usual service quality for places with the included tips
There is a nice ocean view outside, upper mid range prices, nice staff. But so long

The chicharrón was salty, the ceviche was tasteless and the fried calamari was great not greasy. The waitress was Unique (that is her name) she is amazing, she is friendly and very attentive. The place is perfect to sit and look at people passing by and the beach is across the street.

Alexander is the best server. Happy and more than willing to help with our needs. He made our day. And the trumpet player made it even more remarkable

We made a reservation due to the website stating they would be busier than normal. Up on arrival we were the only guests. The online menu stated the price for the New York Strip at 26 dollars. That would have been an acceptable price. The menu in the restaurant shows a price of 48 dollars. Not is that an extreme price for a Strip but I got told that there was a mix up and that the 26 dollars would be way to cheap. The strange thing was that all other prices matched. Considering that there are no customers in the restaurant at 7:30 pm I would suggest a different approach by maybe honoring the online price if someone took the time to read the menu before coming here.

Came for brunch and got served moldy raspberries. When we brought it up they admitted the mistake which I appreciated but then did nothing to compensate the bill until I asked them to. They were out of the whiskey my husband wanted and only had enough champagne left for “about” two drinks. Service was super slow. They offered to have breakfast sent up to our room the next day for the inconvenience which we thought was a lovely gesture. I ordered the pancakes that my husband got the day before as I knew they were good along with crispy bacon. The pancakes were not the same as they were rubbery this time and the bacon was so soggy. My husbands steak was cooked well done even though that’s not what he asked for. Wound up not eating it.
It was a very frustrating experience!

my girlfriend and i arrived at 1:00 pm to enjoy what was advertised as a great place to enjoy the scene and food. sadly i ordered a beer to start and .18 minutes later the waitress said she was waiting for the bartender , the beer arrived warm. the first things we did was order an appetizer which consisted of three pork chunks over fried plantains. the porch chunks skins were stale and not crunchy like its intended.
we ordered snapper and .10 minutes later we were told that there was no snapper !
to be safe i then to be safe if not getting sick
i ordered a salad.
what a waste of a precious Sunday to waste.
i would think twice …

We both ordered the New York strip, and unfortunately the food missed the mark. The steaks were tough, and the mashed potatoes came out cold, which really brought down the overall meal.
What saved the experience was the service. Our server, Taylor, was absolutely exceptional very attentive, honest, and highly professional. Taylor took the time to check in with us, handled everything with care, and genuinely made us feel looked after. That level of service is rare. The manager also came by to address the situation personally and made sure we were taken care of, which we truly appreciated.
While the food was disappointing, the staff’s effort and hospitality stood out. I’m giving 4 stars because of the incredible service. If the kitchen improves, Riviera could easily become a five star dining experience.
Without Taylor’s exceptional talent and service this would be a 1 star review.

We’ve been living in FLL for four years now and this is a little hidden gem on FLL Beach. The service was quick and Abby and Dante (GM) were such a pleasure and made our experience awesome. Oh and did I mention that they’re doggy and gluten free friendly??? Make sure you try their chicken and waffles and their AVO Toast!! Can’t wait to come back!!!
