Really a hidden gem. We were hungry after a day at the beach and searched the web. We ended at this delicious place were the food is SO GOOD and so fresh. We were so happy to find it. Flavors were amazing, real italian flavors. No sauces from jars or frozen... Everything fresh and delicious.We will definitely go back.

By far, the BEST Italian food in the Ft. Lauderdale area (Galt mile). One has the feeling you are in an authentic Italian trattoria in a North American city, because YOU ARE. The food is simply exquisite. The pasta dishes are home made and fresh. The Pesto gnocchi were out of this world!! The service is amazing, friendly and prompt. It is not a huge place, but oh so quaint! Did I mention how great the food is? This is also a BYOW place!! We plan to return every time we are back in Ft. Lauderdale.

This joint was right next to our Airbnb and I am so glad that we stopped by. My group had the most wonderful experience. We stopped in at odd lunch hours (~2:30pm) and were seated right away. I was reading a newspaper article on the wall about the restaurant which said that the couple is from Italy, and the food shows! To begin with, freshly baked, hot bread was brought to the table. Dipping this in a mix of olive oil and balsamic vinegar was a great appetizer. I got the pizza with beef pepperoni-- one of the best pizzas I have ever had. All my friends were extremely satisfied with their dishes and the portions were good.

Food is excellent prepared by the owner and Roberta the wife handles the tables. She is personable and fast to an accommodate any request. The restaurant is small and quaint with tables both inside and outside. A real gem.

This is truly a small Italian restaurant to treasure. Roberta is the charming Italian woman who is your server. There are about 10 tables inside and about 5 outside. I live much of the year in my villa in Tuscany, so I know good Italian food.One of the nicest things about Roberta's is that they don't offer wines, but allow you to bring your own without a corkage fee. Ironically, they own the Italian market next door which sells wine and will open it for you if you come unprepared.I've been twice. the first time we had lasagna and chicken parmigiana. I always like to try traditional dishes to calibrate the establishment, and she passed with flying colors. Both dishes were about $20.Our second visit we had ossobuco and a shrimp linguine. Both were specials of the night and were $40 and $30 respectively. Though they were both more expensive than any regular menu item, they were well worth it.I have not yet tried her pizza because it is only offered at lunch. This is the opposite of Tuscany where it is impossible to get (real) pizza at lunch.
