I brought my best friend for her birthday and my partner who loves Roccos. I added in the reservation notes that we were dining for a birthday celebration. I didn't expect anything to happen with that comment except for maybe a "Happy Birthday" which my server acknowledged, but not only that, at the end of our delicious meals a Tres Leches cake with a roasted merengue topping with a little candle was brought out and placed right in front of my best friend. We've been to Rocco's a few times and always have a good time, so we brought a group of out-of-town friends on a Friday night. As expected, the place was packed and lively, which is part of the appeal. Drinks were great as always - good size, well made, and solid value. The food is consistently tasty, and the table-side guac is a crowd favorite every time. Portions are generous across the board, so you definitely get your money's worth. It's not a fine-dining...

We have been to other Rocco's in the past and loved it. This was the worst of all. Chips burnt. Drinks watered down. The tacos were dry and bland. Then server realized they had forgotten to add the sauces to the tacos like they should have. The lady making guacamole at table side was apathetic. With the amount of Mexican restaurants in the area it will probably be our last time at Rocco's.
