We've see write ups and re: The Foxy Brown for some time now and have been eager to check it out. We stopped in on a random Thursday evening. The Foxy Brown is bar with great vibes. Part old school, part modern that results in a perfect bar. Lights are low, bar is well-stocked the bar staff are friendly. My husband and I love finding great bars. A good bar is something that is starting to fade. A bar is a place to find solace, fun, great drink, great vibe. And, Roxanne has it all. From what I read, it formerly was a beloved old school bar named Lester's and this is a nostalgic resurrection of what that place was. This is a locals bar that is hip, has fun red backlighting of the bar with mod bar stools. You feel like Don Draper might choose this place to avoid seeing anyone he knows. :-) It's a modern version of what old dive bars looked like in their heyday. Love it!

We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food offerings. The lighting, service and overall atmosphere is very cozy... great drink selections,too...we just wish the music ? volume was lower and the bass adjusted down... (maybe I'm just getting old!)

I would give zero stars if I could. The service is a joke and the funny part is there’s no sercurity to do crowd control or anyone for that matter to CARE about their customers. Especially one girl…who’s an employee, she has blonde hair. I wish I got her name. Anyway there’s people/employees starting fights and promoting violence for no reason at all. This place is terrible.

Attended a Halloween Pub Crawl and the bartender Carly was a ball of fire and made exceptional Slime Shots for us all. The decor was a little of everything shocking, you have to see it to understand. Played some billards and had a few cold beers. Music was classic 70s 80s which we loved. The ONLY negative i can think of was the area along federal hwy was a little rough but has cleaned up alot in last 5 years. 4 star rating easy.

Hidden gem in the Fort Lauderdale area. Roxanne's is a small bar that allows space to play pool and connect with total strangers, friends, acquaintances, etc. The music selection is diverse and the drinks are good. I tried the most popular per the bartender which was the watermelon sugar high. It is on the sweet side, good, but required an additional shot of vodka. My second choice was the local heat which is more of my style. I'm a tequila girl! I loved the mix of sweet and heat and the tequila portion was great. When we walked in, the establishment was near empty. Within 10mins, there was a nice crowd. We got lucky and found parking in front of the establishment, but this might be a challenge other times. The staff were friendly and engaged with the customers and people came in and had a shot party going on in one corner, dancing vibes in another, a pool game was going and others hung out at tables in the seating area! I will definitely be back, I hear they have a unique happy hour!!
I have flashbacks of having fun here. Nice people, younger crowd. They try to make everyone feel comfortable. The bartenderess scolded me for using an inappropriate term when picking on my friend and she was right to do so.

This place is very cool, but the night I went it was way too loud. The prices are good and the tacos I had were delicious. I like they are dog-friendly too. Parking is very limited.

Good place for late night alternative to downtown Fort Lauderdale. Full bar, single pool table, claw machine, booths, and outdoor seating (picnic tables). The owner is cool and they usually have food inside with rotating cook or outback food vender whom serve late.
