My first time ordering from Ruby Chen's, and my last. I spent nearly $40 on my order for 2 people. The "Happy Family" was mostly hard broccoli with a very few small pieces of meat and seafood. Not even enough for 1 person. The fried rice was terrible. I'm 63 from New York. I know good Chinese and what it costs. This was not good Chinese.

The lady is very nice, but the food is just too bad. Greasy, overcooked. Filling in some rangoons felt like it had gone bad. Hot and sour soup did not have texture at all as it was overcooked and had almost no taste.

Well I will never be able to eat general tso chicken again. Went here for carry out the night before our cruise out of fort lauderdale got food poisoning i guess i was up all night sick as a dog and it ruined the first 3 days of my cruise.

I have the one star for the shrimp and broccoli I ordered with extra sauce and the broccoli soft but got neither request after repeating it a few times. The shrimp roll was amazing should have gotten 4 like I originally wanted but over all will it this place another try as the customer service is unmatched! Very kind lady ❤️

We don't eat Chinese food very often because the restaurants we used to frequent have changed. We began looking for a new Chinese restaurant today, and we discovered a hidden gem. I had a question about one of the beef alternatives, so I called in my order—you can also buy online. The phone representative was really friendly and offered to reduce the spice level of the meat meal upon request. Our dinner was scheduled to be ready in ten to fifteen minutes, so after I placed our order, Hubs went to collect it. Hubs also spoke to the pleasantness of the woman that works there. Now, let's talk about the meal review.I felt incredibly!

I ordered the General Tos Chicken and pork fried rice. very bland. Very plain tasting. I won't be back. The service was fine, and the restaurant was clean. I wasn't satisfied with the food. I've had better General Tos Chicken. There was no flavor or sweet spicy taste. I did not taste like General chicken. I don't recommend you order this.
