Ruth's Chris Steak House

We were at Ruth's Chris on Monday, 4/21, to celebrate my friend's birthday. He likes to go there every year for his birthday as he says that the steaks are always done perfectly. The table decorations and card were appreciated. We both ordered the 8 oz. filet mignon done medium, and they were done a prefect medium as ordered. The au gratin potatoes and dessert were also excellent. Since we were seated at 6pm before it started to get busy, service was a little intense at first. They took my plate away before my friend was finished. I always consider it rude to the other person. They then came back several times to see if he was done. I finally told them that he was a slow eater. Since the restaurant was busy later, there was quite a delay before the desert arrived. Overall, it was an excellent evening. I wish I could say the same thing about our dinner at Ruth's Chris on Thursday, 4/24. We were there for a group dinner meeting and seated at the middle table the second row from the front. Last night, everything was to be as expected EXCEPT the steak. We both ordered the 11 oz. filet mignon done medium with lobster tail. I cut into my steak and saw that it was brown though out. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she told me to cut into the middle which was totally brown. Since I noticed that my friend's steak was bright red, I told her that he had ordered medium as well. Again, she told him to cut into the middle. It was as red as it could be. She checked her pad twice to make sure that we were not lying about what we had ordered. She had another waitress come over to check out the situation and see what could be done. Instead of agreeing that the two steaks were not cooked as ordered and taking them away, they kept asking us what we wanted to do. We agreed to eat the well done one and take the rare one home to recook. The well done steak was tough and tasteless. My friend could not even finish half. The BAD NOT perfect steaks should have been sent back!

We go to Pompano Beach often and make it a priority to eat at Ruth Chris in FT. Lauderdale. Brice and Alana are amazing. Excellent customer service and nobody makes a better margarita than Brice! Always a fun time. Great staff.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Ruth Chris here in Fort Lauderdale. The reception, service, and food were excellent and tasty. Robert, our server, was terrific, guiding us through different options. The Manager, Sebastian, came over several times to inquire if we were satisfied. I had an 11-oz filet, sweet potato with a brown sugar and pecan topping, and creamed spinach. My wife had the filet and lobster combo and creamed spinach. Everything was the right temperature and very tasty. The lobster tasted very good, but was tough for a cold-water lobster. It may have been cooked too long.

We had a nice Dinner and enjoyed the Menu. We had to wait a Little to Long for the First Drinks.

Always a great experience. Steaks were cooked perfectly and melted in our mouths. Very good night all round.

Great food. Great service. Manager was very attentive. We love dining at Ruth Chris in Fort Lauderdale.

Food was delicious. Service was spotty. At Ruth's Chris, I don't expect to have to ask for bread, which we had to do on two separate occasions. Felt like our server sort of disappeared at times for long instances.

I've never been to this location , but it didn't disappoint. From the service to the food everything was amazing . Our waitress was super kind and attended to all our needs ! Will definitely recommend this location .

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Lorenzo at RuthChris Steakhouse, and I can’t say enough about his outstanding hospitality! Despite the holiday rush, Lorenzo's service was top notch warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable, making us feel right at home. It's rare to find such dedication during the busy season. Highly recommend!

Order Lamb Chops, lobster Mac and asparagus. It was so delicious and jennifer my waiter was awesome very pleasant and sweet. Definitely will go back again.

Never disappointed when we have dinner at Ruth’s Chris. Started with a delicious Pomegranate Martini then indulged in a few appetizers; calamari, bbq shrimp, goat cheese artichoke dip, all very yummy. For dinner we enjoyed perfectly cooked filet mignon, crab cakes, and sea bass, with asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and of course the sweet potato casserole. Our server, Ken, was terrific! Already looking forward to our return.
