The pasta was very good, everything is quite pricey but expected for this area. The restaurant was quite busy, the tables were close together and it was quite noisy. Not the best if you are hoping for a nice quiet evening.

worst service i’ve had at a restaurant in a LONG time. got sat at our table (of 4) at 7:15 and it took an hour and a half to get served one appetizer and 4 pasta dishes. our appetizer was the order of crostinis, with no items needing to be cooked, so the fact that it took almost an hour for that dish alone was insane. the table sitting next to us didn’t even get served their cheese plate in that time and ended up leaving before being served.

i read a previous review where someone mentioned that they were under new owners, but our waitress (who was very kind) told us that it was the same owners. my boyfriend’s family who has been here many times said that the dishes tasted and looked different. the pasta was good, but nothing to write home about, so because of the service we probably won’t be back.

Just reopened under new management with new chef. Hopefully they will improve. My pasta Primavera was all stuck together in a big clump and my wife's gnocchi was mushy. Eggplant Stack was good. Our friends bronzino fish was poor also.

From the moment I stepped into Scolapasta Bistro, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere immediately felt warm and inviting, much like walking into a beloved family member’s home for a meal. And the food—wow! Every dish was a masterpiece, from the first bite to the last (photos attached to get a glimpse at what we ate). The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was stunning.

What truly set this experience apart, though, was the service. The staff at Scolapasta Bistro went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of phenomenal. They were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Chef Roberto was absolutely fantastic—his passion for his craft was evident in every dish, and he even took the time to come out and chat with us, making the experience feel even more personal and special.

Dining at Scolapasta Bistro felt like being welcomed into a warm, Italian family kitchen where love is the main ingredient. I can’t wait to return and savor more of their culinary delights. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, heartwarming dining experience.

Absolutely fantastic Italian food! Small, quaint neighborhood restaurant. I judge an Italian restaurant on their Veal Parmesan, and was very impressed. Ample portion, perfectly prepared, true al dente pasta at a very reasonable price. This place is the real deal!

The service here is hit or miss, but with a penne pasta (not pictured) like theirs I would serve myself if I had to. Best penne I’ve ever had, and their bread is phenomenal.

Disappointed frankly. Service was very good but somewhat noisy inside and the food was just average. We didn't finish the mussels (as an appetizer) because they weren't hot and they tasted fishy. However, the broccoli (meatless) meatballs were very good. My chicken piccata wasn't great (there were pieces of gristle in the meat so probably not trimmed properly), and for the price, I expected much better. We frequent Italian restaurants, on both spectrums of the price range, and we won't be going back to Scolapasta. Kind of a shame because we were entertaining guests from California and were hoping for a nice dinner. Oh well...can't win 'em all. Better luck to those who choose to go.
