Shake Shack Ft. Lauderdale

Call ahead to do a quick drive in for 1 shake for my grandson. Get there and wait 25 minutes even after I asked to just get me the shake. Totally unconcerned…
And this was the 2nd for the same situation; haven’t been back since.

The burgers are good, but being able to laminate a sign (that clearly won't be getting wet) that your tap water is out of service and then not offering any other glasses of water is wild. I was offered a $2.50 bottle of water which I politely declined.

Terrible service, they lost our order (which can happen), but they kept us for 30 minutes while they delivered to everyone until they gave us ours (which I had to go and complain about).

No apologies from the manager, no courtesy or anything. Don't even come to this branch because it will ruin your experience of eating something so delicious.

Food was meh. I ordered the cheese bacon fries and I don’t know what type of nasty rubber cheese they use. Hard pass.. burger was edible. Shake was 7/10. No one greeted me as I walked in, and no employee at the register. Had to order myself on a pad..

Won’t be back. Haven’t eaten here since they opened but used a promo code to try the burger again. We ended up with 2 burgers, strawberry lemonade and mixed shake. The burgers were so smashed they were separate pieces shoved on the bun with no burger in the center. They were also crunchy burnt. The app and the self service kiosk you are required to use, ask for a tip? Absurd. Worse, when we asked for a cup for water, we were told the water wasn’t working. I’ll assume the self service tap, since they were open. They were also serving fountain drinks, where you can also get filtered water out of. Horrible food and bad service. There were a couple other tables inside and half a dozen pick up orders waiting. The chicken sandwich is marginally better. Too much salt to flavor cheap, burnt burger patties and fries.

Shake shack is awesome. The only thing we did not like was too oily gluten free bun. The staff was friendly and nice. The restaurant was clean.
