Sparrow Fort Lauderdale

From the valet to the hostess to the dining staff, the experience was extremely disappointing. No one greeted us upon arrival. After being seated, we waited over 20 minutes before being acknowledged, without so much as an apology. The lack of basic customer service was evident throughout the visit. To make matters worse, much of the menu was unavailable, the food was underwhelming, and my meal was undercooked. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had.

View is nice and food was good. Service is fair but operations needs some help. How are there no napkins at the bar. When you reserve a table in the lounge how do they give the table away and seat you outside?

Poor service, took 20 minutes to get one drink and server took an hour before she would come back for another drink order. We left and went somewhere else with faster drink service. I was celebrating a birthday so wouldn't recommend if you're celebrating something special. Find yourself somewhere else.

Too loud. Can't talk. Not For the older crowd. Overall all we could hear is boom boom boom.

Waiter was excellent and really the highlight of the night. The food arrived late; I perceived because of the kitchen, the food was medium cold and prices were reasonable. The waiter did apease us as best as he could, but I'm not sure we will come back.

this is my second time at the restaurant, and I went with my husband this time around, and I was very disappointed from the first time I was at the restaurant. Everything was perfect. The waitress is nice. The food was good, but the second time the food was cold. The rice was sticky, and their drinks was not as it was the first time I came not sure if it was a different bartender, but I was very disappointed.

Snooty atmosphere. Complicated way of getting to the restaurant. Given the cheap patio furniture it was not the exclusive kind of atmosphere they think they offer. Restricting access to the elevators, even to hotel guest (which I was) was stupid. Acting snobby is not appealing to me and I've enjoyed some amazing restaurants in my life. They also did not know how to handle one guest. Which was annoying. Will avoid this place in the future.

I visited sparrow this weekend and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with our server, Emily. The food itself was great, however the service was extremely slow particularly with the drinks.

We waited a long time for each round and it really affected the flow of our meal. Our server also seemed very distracted and unsure of what she was doing, and overall the experience didn’t feel attentive or professional.

It’s unfortunate because the place has potential, but I personally wouldn’t return based on the service I received.

Drinks were great but our server Angelina didn’t seem knowledgeable about the menu and couldn’t answer basic questions about the dishes or ingredients. It made the whole ordering process quite frustrating. Although, the rest of the place was beautiful as a whole.

Sparrow Bar & Rooftop Restaurant, located in Fort Lauderdale, is one of the most fascinating rooftop bars and restaurants in South Florida.

I attended an event organized by my wife’s firm, which allowed me to explore this amazing rooftop venue with a stunning view of Fort Lauderdale.

Since I was there for an event sponsored by my wife’s firm, it wasn’t a dinner event but rather a gathering where hors d’oeuvres were served. I can’t really judge their dishes; however, the Mai Tai, the only drink I ordered, was spot on. In fact, it was one of the best Mai Tais I’ve had. There was no need to order a second—I had enough to get my engine running, loosen up, and start socializing.

The place was lively, with good music, beautiful people, and the servers kept the hors d’oeuvres coming—like Brussels sprouts dipped in a sweet sauce, and chicken on a stick. Everything was tasty and flavorful, except for the chicken.

Needless to say, I had an awesome time—an enjoyable moment surrounded by beautiful people, good music, and an amazing view and location.

I can't wait to visit again with my wife so I can better enjoy their dishes and drinks.

I would recommend this place for a good night out.

Drinks were okay, food was okay. Ordered Korean fried chicken tenders and they were not as crispy as Korean fried chicken should be, if anything a bit soggy. Service was not good, had to hunt down waiters for drinks and sometimes the waiter would come and not ask how everybody was, she also was not knowledgeable about the menu.

We scheduled for outdoor dining and was spoken too rudely regarding to not wanting to sit in the middle between outside and inside. The manager did accommodate us but the hostesses were not as accommodating

Be good I don’t get try it . It has a beautiful view of the city . The bartenders are friendly and they have dancers performing . Have to say it’s the prettiest rooftop I’ve seen in lauderdale
