Fantastic experience. Organized and friendly check in staff, delicious cocktails, beautiful ambiance with an outdoor view of the ocean, delicious food, excellent service. Just perfect.
What an amazing experience at Steak 954! The food was delicious (a little salty, but still packed with flavor). Eric is such a fantastic bartender — super friendly and attentive — and our server was just as great! The setup and atmosphere were beautiful, making the whole night feel special. And the Wagyu steak... wow, it's an absolute must-try! I can't wait to go back!
Always a good time great food. Excellent service when we go to steak 954. Love having an awesome dinner with the view of the ocean. It doesn't get any better.
Service here has declined immensely. Servers not paying attention to tables. Went 30 minutes without our server stopping by once. Ordered soufflés when we ordered entrees and they were never put in the they were dropped on our table a half hour later. Really sad how this restaurant has declined over the years. The jellyfish tank is all it has going for it nowadays unfortunately. Had some amazing dinners in years past. But a 500 check doesn't rate the same service level I get at my local Denny's at this point
Really wanted to have a good steak. It was very tough. At 75$+ for a steak I would expect the most tender steaks. Very disappointed. Spent over 600$ for dinner here and sad. But it is what it is

For a steakhouse, i ordered a filet mignon medium well, it came burnt on the outside, barely medium on the inside. The gratin, that is supposed to be creamy, was watery. And let's not talk about probably the most condescending waiter ever, who, when i tried to tell him the filet was burnt, turned his back and walked away. If you want a steakhouse, go to Mortons or Capital grill.
1st we were seated at a table with a very loud industrial fan pointed on us, and it was freezing! Our waitress, who was super sweet, turned it off of us, great! The manager saw that someone turned it, and he turned it right back on us!!Did I mention we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant? We asked if he would turn it away from us again, and our request was ignored, with attitude! We asked for our check for our drinks, and we were leaving. The server asked us if she could move us, and we agreed, as we come to this place every time we are in the area. My steak came raw, ordered medium. Sent back and was returned by the female manager who also had an attitude, and it was still raw. She aggressively snatched it away, brought it back again and walked away! Check came, steak was still on the bill and the poor waitress was so embarrassed! Never again, and your managers should be ashamed of themselves. We should have left when we had the chance!!
It was my son's third dining experience there and my first period. He took me there to celebrate my birthday. We happen to be sitting next to a table. Who is there also for a birthday celebration. Their waiter provided the woman with a cupcake for her birthday and our server did not offer one for me. That was disappointing for me.
I don't like being told that the chef insists I give my full order when the restaurant is slow. I understand that's part of the training spiel and SOP, but utilize common sense and adjust. Read the table. Also, the very nice and professional waiter failed to utilize my gift card, which caused an awkward and time consuming experience when finalizing the bill.
Service slow , unexperienced.. Food was mediocre at best.. My $80 dry aged steak was so salty it was barely edible.. I had to pour water on it to remove most of the sal. The Whipped potatoes a 3rd grader could have done.. nothing special... on top of that my glass of wine was corked.. My total bill was $175. Not worth it.. I expected so much more because of the many positive reviews.. The only real positive was the ambiance . It was great , right on the beach..

Great food but terrible service. The waitress lacked personality and was not welcoming at all. Don't know if i would come back as the price tag should come with a good experience, i felt like i was being served REALLY GOOD in a dining hall.
Outstanding food and service. From the scallop appetizer to the salads and the ribeye steaks, everything was prepared perfectly. Our server, Rosa, was also outstanding and made sure that our guest with an allergy was well taken care of.
We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary here and we couldn’t have been happier with our meal. Our service was fantastic from the moment we stepped foot in the door. The staff said happy anniversary to us while walking to our table. Our server was hands-down, one of the best. From the espresso martini, to the bread and the fillet and the dessert that was brought to us for our anniversary. It was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals that we had while on vacation.

The service was excellent for our dinner, but the food was strange. We ordered oysters and a few of them were smelly, not fresh. Fine- happens, and they took it off the bill.
But the steaks, that they specialize in since they are a steakhouse, had an insane layer of salt to a point that we could not eat them. We ordered two filets and a ribeye. It was especially hard to eat the ribeye since it is much thinner than the filets and the surface area of the steak was taken full advantage of- to dump all of the salt they could find. It was salt olympics, and they got the gold.
The done-ness was perfect on all of them, dry aged too, just to be ruined by such a simple mistake. Hundreds of dollars down the drain.
We will not be back

I visited this restaurant on my birthday (9.19) and the experience was absolutely incredible! When we first arrived and saw the beautiful ambiance and atmosphere, to being seated immediately by a very welcoming staff. Everything we ordered was delicious! Usually my husband is a big critic on food because he previously worked in kitchens, but even he was left SPEECHLESS. Not one complaint about anything! Our waiter went above and beyond with memorable customer service. At the end he even bought me out a deliciously moist red velvet cupcake with velvety cream cheese icing that had a candle that he lit at the table side and said HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I truly felt like a queen for a night. The cupcake actually made me cry because it was just like my wedding cake and my husband and I were just taking a trip down memory lane about how long we’ve been together. Thank you Steak 954 for an unforgettable birthday ❤️
