We make sure to eat at Steak 954 when we are in Ft Lauderdale. Food always good. Waiter was overly familiar this time - makes it a little awkward. Seems like a trend with wait staff everywhere this Spring break.Kid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly atmosphere. You don’t lose the elegance either.

Not really a steak house unless you know how to cook a steak ,waiter asked twice what I wanted but never brought it had to ask him a third time and then looks at me and laughed like I was a joke same reaction when I told him I needed to go to the restroom because something made me nauseous don't come and waist your money here not unless you like 60 dollar beef jerky .

Beautiful restaurant, with amazing service and with great selections. I ordered wagu, king crab, and spared no expense to try their truffle on everything but the price is just not worth it. Will not be back unfortunately.

Dined at "Barclay's Prime" in Philly 2 nights ago and was very impressed w the service and steak quality in spite of the $400 price for two. 2 nights later in Ft Lauderdale, I was excited to recognize the exact same "popovers"(bread) I had in Philly at Barclays Prime and was excited to learn = same owners/restaurant. The bartender recommended a $125 "Australian Wagu" ribeye. Asked me how I wanted it cooked. Moments later, he produced a steak that was 1/8 inch thick. I ordered medium rare but why ask if it's only 1/8 inch thick? Barclays in Philly = everything a pricey steakhouse should be. Steak 954 = an absolute joke....so disappointed

We had just landed in Fort Lauderdale and decided to eat at Steak 954 last night. Everything from the service, the food quality and ambiance was all top notch. We had the aged rib eye steak with mushrooms, caesar salads, chefs salad and mini burgers for the kiddos. It was a lot of food and everything was amazing. I usually like to dress nicely for a restaurant like this but we had just landed from traveling all day and thankfully there was no dress code enforced. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a proper steak meal and don't mind paying for the experience.

Absolutely impeccable service from start to finish. The hosts at the front desk were amazing and accommodating. Excellent salads to start and fish main courses both excellent. Dining in Fort Lauderdale can be incredibly annoying and disappointing. My dinner here restored my faith.

The knowledgeable and attentive server made a difference in our visit tonight. Despite traffic noise, the food and overall experience is consistently good. Looking forward to a return visit once we are back in the area.

On our 30th wedding anniversary we were blessed to have Cidney as our server. Steak was wonderful and service was perfect. If you miss Steak 954 you are truly missing out. Thank you for a wonderful memory

We ordered a TON of food and I was so hungry that I only remembered to take pics of the appetizers. DO NOT order the lobster bisque, it was gross! The sliders were delicious, the Caesar salad had a lot of dressing, the potato au gratin is not as good as the Mac n cheese, go for the Mac n cheese. The 8oz filet mignon medium was the star of the show! Id go back just for that. The fries were solid and the ketchup tasted like it was weirdly fresh but in the best of ways. The chicken was meh in my opinion, the red snapper was a huge disappointment. The baked potato was nothing special. Our server was meh at best and the atmosphere is pretty loud. Id only recommend if you want steak

Tomahawk for 200 plus was of outback quality, the server worked very hard and was really good but he had way to many tables for a quality steakhouse. The place would go out of business in a NY minute in the northeast!!!

If you are a steak lover and you just happen to be in Ft. Lauderdale, I highly recommend Steak 954. The 18 Oz. Ribeye is in the top three I've ever had. Wash it down with a Cabernet. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Alvin, he's an excellent server and a good guy! Plus, if you sit outside, you'll have an excellent view of the beach.

While the food was quite good - we had the chopped salad, French onion soup, Branzino, truffle potato gratin, haricot verts - The handling of the front management/hostess wasn't. We had a 7:45 reservation and weren't seated (after checking twice) until 8:15.

We enjoyed a delightful dinner while watching the lightening over the ocean. Cocktails were well-crafted. Wine list was extensive. Steaks were prepared to perfection and very well seasoned. Yorkshire pudding/popover was light and airy. Staff was attentive, especially our server Alan.
