Best sushi in Florida. They actually have REAL wasabi if you ask for it. They charge for it of course but it is night and day compared to the standard paste wasabi. All rolls are excellent, one of my favorites is the Wallflower. Music is great too, and owner, chefs and servers very friendly.

"My experience at this sushi restaurant was simply exceptional. From the moment I entered, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and elegant ambiance of the place. The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and showed us to our table promptly. We decided to try a variety of sushi rolls and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Each piece was meticulously prepared and presented with impressive attention to detail. From traditional sushi to the most innovative creations, each bite was an explosion of freshness and flavor. The fish was of the highest quality, fresh and flavorful, and paired perfectly with the seasoned rice and other ingredients. Additionally, the rolls were cleverly decorated with sauces and garnishes that further enhanced their flavor and presentation. In addition to the delicious food, I must praise the impeccable service we received throughout the meal. The staff was attentive to our needs and always willing to offer menu recommendations and suggestions. In terms of ambiance, the restaurant offered an elegant and relaxing experience. The background music and dim lighting created a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a quiet and pleasant meal.In short, I highly recommend this sushi restaurant to any food lover looking for an exceptional dining experience. From the quality of the food to the impeccable service and the welcoming atmosphere, everything about this place exceeded our expectations. Thank you for an unforgettable dining experience!"

We used to really enjoy going to this place, it was one of our local sushi spots. We kept in rotation, but after the last time, definitely avoiding this place. Plenty of other great spots without deceitful practices. I asked for wasabi and the hostess/waitress (and i believe manager) asked me wasabi paste or fresh wasabi? I looked at her quizzically, never been posed the question before and said fresh wasabi. The check comes and we’re charged $3.50 for it-we brought it to her attention and she absolutely refused to remove it. She never mentioned there was an extra charge and she knew that I thought it was one and the same. It was clear from her behavior and demeanor this is not the first time she’s pull this before. I understand it’s a nominal amount but based how intentionally and blatantly deceitful she was, we will not return. they also increased their prices recently and quite honestly for what you’re getting it’s really not worth it. Also, the rules always take a while to make even when you’re the only one in the restaurant. We put up with the slow service because it used to be reasonable priced for decent sushi and easily accessible but it’s just not worth it.

Menus were filthy. Barely could read one of the entrees. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was delicious except the sashimi appetizer. Was off. The rest of the food was great. Tables were cleaned with a dirty cloth and you could see the dried resused water on the table.

I have been going to Sushi Rock for about 20 years. This place makes me think of small NY type of “hole in the wall” where you find the unexpected: THE best sushi in town. Hands down and hats off to this place food-wise. Their Sublime and Red Hot Chilly Pepper rolls are literally making me drool just writing about them. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, which makes the perfect spot for a no muss no fuss, fantastic sushi eating. It’s always on the chilly side in there so bring a shawl or something. Must.Eat.There.Parking: Depends what time you go and what day of the week it is. If can be as easy as finding a spot in front of the restaurant or as complicated as circling around couple times and still having to park a few streets over (usually for dinner or during the weekends)

As always Sushi rock is magical. Everything is delicious and very fresh. I recommend the Aladin serve with its fantastic bottle to accompany the excellent sashimis and also the dumplings!

We stopped here for a dinner. Had a tuna tartar, some California rolls, and chicken spring roles. I don’t think I would recommend it to others. Nothing bad, just plain and really didn’t taste like super delicious to come back again. The service was pleasant and friendly. Very fast too.
