Sushi Song - Oakland Park

This place is set up as a bar and super dark. You can barely see your food without a flashlight. The sushi is literally gas station sushi. The shrimp isn't fresh and the rice tastes mushy. It's almost as if they over cooked it or added too much rice vinegar. Nothing tasted fresh at all. If you think the sushi/rolls is amazing here, then you really never had any good sushi.

This is our favourite spot of the Sushi Song Places. We live 5 minutes from this location and dine there at least 2 times a month. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is excellent as well. I'm leaving this review because I ordered door dash for tonight and although we dine-in at the Ocean Blvd location for some reason DD sent the order to the Wilton Manor location? Anyhoo, HANNA at Ocean Blvd called 3 places to help find our order. She was amazing! So kind and provided friendly, patient, above and beyond service to help me. They are killing it here with excellent food, chill atmosphere, and super friendly service. Thanks Hanna, we really appreciated all your time and assistance.

how do you serve sushi? raw(b) — ROBBY was amazing. Hana was the sweetest. amazing service every time we visit. from the appetizers to the rolls w sake and beer in between. we had the shrimp shumai, triple roll, hamachi jalapeño and some specials — the lemon drop roll and salmon belly sushi. EVERYTHING was soooooooo delicious!

Absolutely amazing! I’m a big sushi lover, and this spot hit the mark especially for a late night craving. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. Chef Robbie (hope I spelled his name right) was incredible he went above and beyond, encouraged us to venture out, and kept checking in to make sure we were satisfied. The customer service was a perfect 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back! I only had the chance to take pics of one the others just went in!

Yesterday I went to have dinner with a friend of mine the service was fast and quick. Our server let us know they are short staff and he was making our food and taking care of us. The food was excellent will recommend again to everyone coming for late night food

Food is good; no complaints at all. Service though… staff dinning and snacking should be kept away from customers sight. Having a seating sushi bar means that you will be tending to customers as you cook/prepare, having a polite/friendly attitude is a must; need to work on that. Dining is an experience; service attitude, attention, and practices are essential to make a good meal a pleasant dining experience.
Edit: bearded guy at the bar 5 stars! Excellent service!

We met the most beautiful amazing sushi master (the server with a bunch of h’s in her name.. lol great place , except I didn’t know I was eating fish eggs . It was the bomb tho!

As a regular customer, I can tell you the food is amazing. However, they expanded the restaurant and left the same size kitchen with one sushi roller working on dine in customers and one sushi roller working on the to go orders. They have the one server who thinks that she can say whatever she wants to you because you’re a regular customer and she’s allowed to be rude. So I suggest the owners get their act together because no matter how good your food is people are going to stop coming there when they have to wait over an hour For their food .
