Absolutely great place to hold an event! We’ve had two parties at this location. The food and staff are always excellent and ready available! We were given a space to decorate and set up and just be and have fun. Highly recommended!! Just talk to Carlos, he is the best!

Delightful cafe with pleasant staff. The space is thoughtfully designed and provides an inviting space for those looking to catch up with a friend or in my case, work remotely for several hours.
I had an empanada and their iced coffee. Both were quite enjoyable.

The service was fast (I received my order within 5 mins), the croissant was awesome, bulletproof coffee was strong enough for me ?? although coming from Europe I do struggle with coffee quality in the States. Prices are very reasonable. I paid $22 for my brunch, including the tip. In general, keeping this place on my “to go to list”. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem in Las Olas!! Super nice atmosphere. I come here for the açaí and empanadas, they never disappoint!! Also seems like a cute spot to grab coffee and do some work. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stopped by for the great vibe from the photos we saw and to get some coffee. We ordered the double machiatto for her and hazelnut latte for me, my go-to at new locations. The macchiato isn't like your sugary Starbucks caramel machiatto - It's made Italian style with STRONG espresso. My wife is a regular coffee drinker, and she felt a buzz from it. I'm a basic coffee drinker and thought the iced latte was too strong for me, especially with the coffee ice cubes included. The barista was really friendly and explained that their iced coffee is sweeter than their iced lattes, then she offered to sweeten my drink, which turned out much better for me. Overall, amazing vibes and a perfect study spot with strong coffee for the unprepared.

Don’t come here hungry and make sure you have at least two hours to spare. It took 45mins to get coffee and French toast. The food was not anything special considering the cost and time it took for it to come out. I was very disappointed with the service here.

I sent my fiance this morning to get a latte for her and myself. When I dropped her off I was waiting for her in the car for over 30 minutes and I get a text from her saying that they did not make the coffee and left her waiting in the front. Later a guy popped his head and remembered he did not make the coffee and scrambled to make it. Once the latte was finally made that I finally got to taste, it was horrendous. It tasted like a latte from one of those automatic machines from a hospital. It has to be the worst coffee I have ever had and was more expensive than starbucks.Very disappointed to say the least…. Do better

My husband and I popped in here for a quick bite and some coffee. The space itself is immaculate and beautifully designed. One of the staff members was cleaning diligently the entire time we were there. The man at the register was super friendly and gave us some recommendations. We ordered 2 small Alchemist lattes and the Chef Breakfast- a tater tot waffle topped with two fried eggs, guac, and pico de gallo for $37-something without tip. The waffle was absolutely delicious! The coffee on the other hand, was just okay. I appreciated that they used coffee ice cubes, but the drink all together lacked flavor and needed a little something. Overall, I would definitely return and try a different beverage option!

The Alchemist has some of the BEST coffee in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Just off the beaten path known as Las Olas, and near many of the residential high-rises. A great go-to for meetings or work setting too! Give Alchemist a try, you will be glad you did!

The Alchemist is a much needed and very welcomed addition to the area- The owner truly knows how to welcome his guests and provide superior service. The interior is absolutely gorgrous so if you stop in make sure to absorb all of the details around you. To the left, the wall is a mural of the Ft Lauderdale Skyline and it is breathtaking. The food and drink are of the highest quality with options for everyone, including Vegans. The Coffee at the alchemist is of excellent quality as well as the pastry. This is the kind of place you eat lunch in and feel good for the rest of the day. Easy parking in the building!
