My wife grew up in Brooklyn and knows her bagels. We spent around $30 today, Feb. 1, 2024. We bought 2 plain bagels, veggie cream cheese, a turkey deli bagel and a Williamsburg bagel. The ingredients seemed fresh but the bagels were so very tough we couldnt even bite them. What a dissappointment.

This morning was my first time visiting the establishment. When I stepped up to the counter I told the woman I wanted Nova cream cheese and before I could even finish she cut me off and told me I needed to pick a bagel. I told her I wanted an everything bagel (I saw these were available online). She said "we don't have any, whats over there is all we have!" I read on the website that they have fresh bagels cooked every morning. I came in about 10 something, so I was surprised they had such few options. Overhearing another customer, she finally said their oven went out this morning and they wouldn't be making any more bagels today. Why not tell people that from the beginning or post a sign?She rang up my order and as I was paying she walked off to the next register and started helping the next guest. It was very rude. I never got my receipt and she never looked back in my direction. Service was not good. It being my first visit, her behavior definitely rubbed me the wrong way. The customers were inconvenienced and she was acting annoyed that customers were asking about the lack of products. As I waited for my food, I watched her and the other workers interact with customers, they were very brash and unapologetic. No smiles. Seems like the team could use some training.

This place is gone to the dogs, bad service, dirty, and I didn’t know when you order a bagel and cream cheese for $7 you can hardly see the cream cheese.
I grew up coming here and have always loved it, but I can no longer see this place the same when I am constantly getting sick from eating the food here.Approximately 5-6 months ago I came and ordered a tuna melt, it used to be my favorite thing to order. Yet I ended up with the absolute WORST food poisoning. All I had eaten was that sandwich so it was the only possibility. For the longest time I avoided coming for that reason but lately finding myself in the area, I decided to give it another shot and just not order the same thing I would before.But after ordering a regular sausage and egg sandwich today, I have gotten sick yet again.Not sure if this is an issue with the employee’s hygiene or a food safety issue, but I will no longer come and support this location or franchise. I feel like I am gambling when I come here now, which is not a risk you should ever have to worry about with food.If you plan on coming here please be careful about ordering any seafood and assure the workers are taking the necessary food safety precautions.

Not good with customer service. Came in for the first time today and ordered two breakfast bagels. I saw them sit at the window for a few minutes before the girl in the front decided it would be a good idea to pack them up and give them to me. She was just too busy on her phone and speaking with a fellow co worker while my food sat there getting cold. I work at a restaurant I very much dislike when food is sitting around and not being taken to a customer. Furthermore, the gentleman should be retrained in how to wash hands and be aware of what he touches before he touches the bagels. Good hygiene is extremely important because touching your mouth and face and hair then touching food is not safe practice. Don’t think he did it on purpose I just think he was also distracted.
