POOR SERVICE, ALRIGHT PIZZAAfter coming a fairly far distance, my friends and I noticed a pizza location with next to no reviews. Now I typically see this as a sign for the worst but the pictures looked amazing. So I decided to risk and try. What I can say is that pizza is absolutely great and worth the 30 minute wait. Not so fantastic? The staff with long dark hair and glasses who rudely came to my table and said "You know to go means to go, right?" Are you kidding me? Not only did I tip on my to go order, I kindly explained to the other wait staff that I wanted to try 1 slice BEFORE I left. He thought that was a great idea and brought me and my other friend a plate and said "here you go so you can enjoy a slice before you leave." When the waiter got flippant and said talk to the manager if you don't like what I said. Fernando, the manager, seemed to forget through instantaneous amnesia that he endorsed the idea and said her behavior was justified. Sorry Fernando but both of you are wrong and your pizza just isn't worth the hassle or disrespect! Disappointing.

A noticed an elderly man throwing something behind the bar in an attempt to nudge the waitress wearing a shirt red dress, black sweater, long dark brown hair and glasses. I wondered why a customer would do such a thing. Within moments, the waitress' crass behavior and pettiness was directed toward us. Standing over my hanadbag in full designer handbag envy mode, shr sarcastically asked "you do know to-go means to go right?". Unbelievable. I calmly stated, "we were upfront and stated our intentions with who the waitress claimed was the manager, we paid and we tipped, hence the reason the manager would bring us aluminum plates."The entire interaction was astounding in the most negative way. The pizza crust itself was just as hard and stale as her approach. In an attempt to reason with her and the manager as to how out of time and disruptive her poor performance was revealed, neither had a firm command and comprehension of the English language. The concept of manager to subordinate wS completely lost on them. I say that to say, imagine the amount of time and energy it would take to be rude to a paying abd tipping customer when Yiur English speaking skills are still in development. As a community of human beings, we must do better by one another and we absolutely should expect better of one another. Especially in a business situation.

Had pizza from The Pig & The Pie inside Burger Stop in Ft Lauderdale. We are sharing the FLOAT LIKE A BUTTERFLY STING LIKE A BEE Pizza which is a 14” with San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, fresh cows milk mozzarella, Grana Padano cheese, imported sweet & hot soppressata, roasted red peppadews, mike’s hot honey & fresh basil. This is off the hook delicious. It’s one of the best artisanal pizza’s I have ever had.
