Our waiter was Phaibe I believe I may have spelled her name incorrectly. But she was freaking fabulous, it was noisy but a good noisy it was the sound of others having fun and enjoying their time. It was a date night for us and we enjoyed everything from the scenery to the live band that played at the restaurant who was freaking awesome when booking through open table I requested to sit outside on the second floor and they granted my request I absolutely appreciated it. Now on to the food we tried the deviled eggs I didn't like I'm use to them being a tad bit on the sweet side, the gator tails baby those things are great we had two orders, I had the gumbo which was good, we had the jambalaya my boyfriend enjoyed it I didn't which is fine everybody taste buds are different. He also had the Cajun ribeye just so you know it's not spicy at all, OHHH their CORNBREAD IS AWESOME!!! And their beignets or we called them an elephant ear lol. Also we had the frozen cocktails which were awesome and I also tried their bourbon frozen milk drink it was great but for someone who has problems when drinking milk I suggest not trying it. But WE LOVED everything we will definitely be going back!!!

It's good, not as good as the other location in West Palm Beach. As far as the food and srvice is was very very good,. A little pricey.

tl;dr - This place is awesome. The food and drinks here are fantastic. Is it authentic Louisiana food? I have no idea as I haven't been to Louisiana (yet), but it's awesome food. I had the jambalaya (which is one of those dishes I always get when I see it), buttered cornbread, and the fried green tomatoes. The food was great. Then I had Voodoo Child and Pimp Chalice- and both tasted great - plus the names are amusing. The ambiance is really nice. It has a combination indoor/outdoor seating, purple accent lightning and the decorations are fun. The place has a speakeasy feel to it. Lastly, the service. I want to give a shout-out to my server Roman (you should request him if you go). He is really friendly and gives his honest recommendations of what he likes and what he is not a fan of. He is attentive (I never had to hunt him down), has a great personality and really seems to care about his customers. Go here and you won't regret it.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo Bayou on Las Olas. Food is always good, we orders a fried chicken sandwich and a roasted chicken, then we finished with bignettes and everything was good. Love music was also a great plus! Recommend!

We dine frequently in Fort Lauderdale, and while Las Olas restaurants often lack the best service, we decided to give this one a try. To our surprise, Phoebe exceeded our expectations.
