Mahi mahi sandwich was good, not many people around 1pm

Stopped in for dinner with a friend. The menu looked appetizing on the website. When we arrived, there were only 3 other tables dining. The dining experience was not very pleasant. It took an extremely long time to receive both one appetizer (crab cakes - which was tasty) and two entrees. The wait was so long and bad we came close to asking for our bill for the appetizer and two ice teas. When the food finally arrived, it was hot. The grilled octopus was over cooked and not prepared as stated on the menu. My friends Bronzino was good, But It was a hassle eating it with bones in every bite. On a Positive note, The waitress was attentive and friendly and did realize our frustration and apologetic. Management did make up for it by giving us a free desert and a modest discount on the bill. Prior to getting our food, We noticed the lunch/dinner specials throughout the week. We were anticipating coming back the following day for the Steak Special but after what occurred, I’m not willing to take a chance.

Saw on their website that they had Happy Hour specials 3-6 pm, but it was also a Tuesday and they had $2 tacos (chicken, steak and fried fish) and $5 margaritas all day. We walked over from our hotel (Royal Beach Palace) and got lucky finding an empty table (actually a working glider table) outside. Sammie was our server and she was terrific! Tacos are kinda small. We were really hungry and ended up with 5 tacos a piece. 10 tacos and 4 margaritas later we had a $40 bill, which thrilled us! TIP...tacos came with meat, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and avocado. I heard another table asking about a salsa that could also be requested for the tacos. Also, you can get the margaritas in a short glass and skip the traditional cumbersome plastic margarita cup.

Awesome food and awesome service. They have a very interesting menu. The steak was delicious and the Mediterranean salad huge , yummy desert. Very reasonably priced with daily specials. I highly recommend Whales bar and grill.

Food horrible music good. Don’t order food there. Flatbread soggy and tasteless. Crab cakes sent back.

We initially stopped by for dink while walking. Ended up having an app. The bartender was so sweet, so enjoyed our visit we went back twice. Food, service, and ambiance is great.

We were disappointed in the menu selections to begin with. The shrimp cocktail was served with WARM shrimp and was gross. We all ordered ribeyes and they were all seared as black as charcoal and when ordered medium allcame as well done. Would never eat here again.

The food was fantastic, the customer service was great and the atmosphere was peaceful.

Samantha did an incredible job. Our food was fabulous. It is amazing that a ribeye at this small establishment was better than a big chain restaurant such as Mortons. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful dining experience, much better than we expected. Webber our waiter went out of his way to make our dining experience enjoyable. We can’t wait to recommend and go there again!

We went out with another couple and we had a fantastic time. They had a great musician playing the night that we went. The lobster special was okay. Stopped in for one of their lobster specials with a few friends to take advantage of their outdoor dining. The owner is externally friendly and very accommodating. Stop by for drinks and food!
