Stopped in quick with my wife just to get a drink and a few apps. The restaurant is on the second level overlooking the water and boats. First off, the service was phenomenal. The host was easy going, took us outside but that was a bit cold with the rain. No issue, moved us inside. Our server was great. He was attentive but not pushy or overbearing. We ordered the Octopus and Crab Cakes appetizers. Honestly, the octopus itself had no flavor. I've never had octopus before so not sure there, but the scampi sauce was very good. The crab cakes were also very good and a good size too.
Overall, I would definitely go back.

So great to visit and support the first restaurant open after IAN on FMB. For a limited menu, there was a fantastic selection. We will be back for sure!

We were looking forward to helping the local economy in Fort Myers Beach by going to lunch; what a mistake. It's one thing to be overwhelmed by not having enough staff; its a totally different thing to ignore your customers. Very bad service from indifferent wait staff and, when we finally got our order food was cold.
If you want to eat at ground zero and get a can of beer to see the hurricane destruction, then you may find your time well spent.
It will be years before we go back to Fort Myers Beach and never to this establishment.

As the name suggests, you are set right next to a waterway. What it doesn't suggest is the availability of dock right at the Bistro, so should you have a boat parking becomes less of an issue. As for the food; scrumptious and filling! It is slightly expensive but you are getting what you pay for! The service was fast and friendly, plus the atmosphere was wonderful. I will admit this visit was done in December after Hurricane Ian hit, so the region was still in recovery, and the Bistro was only a quarter full. So if you happen to be in the area, stop on in and have a bite to eat. Or two.

Thank you for being you! I had a absolutely fabulous pasta dish at your restaurant shortly after you opened post Ian. Sorry it took so long to write a review. Our waiter was extraordinary and posed for a picture with us. I can’t remember his name but he was certainly memorable in every other way!
I can’t wait to come back and order the pasta bolognese. I’m Italian and am very critical about pasta. Chef, you nailed it! Once again thank you for being open on the island and nailing it as well.

Came here for brunch and cocktails with a friend. Great food, service, and environment. The decor and view is amazing. Our server Andrew was very courteous and provided beverage and meal choices.

We went there for the first time in Christmas day. A party of 3 with 3 different entrees. Lobster ravioli, Chicken parmesan and Grouper. All were excellent!! So full of flavor, presentation was superb and abundance in quantity!! A real chef must be present! Also, Mary our server was amazing! We will definitely be back. Very pleased!!
