“Our favorite did NOT disappoint! For the first time we skipped the oysters for the bacon wrapped shrimp- we ate it so fast I didn’t get a pic…. Delicious, great bacon and even better shrimp! Next up was Cajun shrimp scallop pasta! Oh man- best we have ever had. Smooth cajun cream sauce over ample grilled shrimp and scallops and linguine. Yum!! Had the drink of the day- blackberry mule- perfection. Thanks SOBs for another fabulous evening!!”

“We went out on the 2hr tour. And it was EXCELLENT. We saw a dolphin right at the start of the cruise. Then, we went into a channel, and saw a few more dolphins, as well as several manatees. On our way back, we saw a few more Dolphins. The crew was so great. Thanks Dave, and Tracey.”

“I am visiting here and our landlord recommended Wicked Wasabi to us today. My Veggie Roll was crunchy and delicious and Sam substituted tamari at my request for soy sauce due to my gluten sensitivity. He was also willing to customize my meal if I needed changes. My husband's Black Garlic Kono Wagyu Udon was "totemo oishii"!! Very tasty! Alexa (? or was it Alex, sorry) was friendly, fun, professional and very helpful. Because there are already several of the planned food vendors open, I also was able to have a freshly made smoothie for dessert. I highly recommend them!!”

“On vacation and this place came highly recommended. There was a bit of a wait (Sat night) but worth it. I had the crab cakes that came with a butter keylime sauce. A+ Will return on our next vacation .”

“I was there with 3 friends on 9/10/22. One of the best meals ever! Our server, Antonio, was wonderful. He took great care of us, made us laugh, and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful setting with the best view of the beach. Wish I could eat there every night, and have Antonio serve us. Grade A”

Caleb promptly served our cocktails and made his rounds checking on us and keeping us hydrated :) Thanks Caleb!”

“The lady who runs the truck is so kind, and the food is amazing. This was my first time having a pupusa and it was a great experience! Definitely try to bring cash if you can though, there are days when the card machine isn’t working properly. But theres wayyy more pros to eating here. Worth every dime!!”

“Big shout out to Brad at Bob's Beach Bar! Super fun and gave us great recommendations for places to try in the area. We enjoyed some delicious cocktails in the sand and 🌞 with Brad as our bartender a couple of afternoons while at Pink Shell. He's the best!”

“I didn't get coffee. I stopped because of the Bad Ass mural as well as the VW Van and Bad Ass Crossing sign. Awesome photo opp. A must stop to see when in the area.”

“Coffee was just okay! I go out for a new coffee at least once a weekend so I have a great variety to base this off of. I honestly preferred the MoJoe’s coffee (which is the smaller mini trailer stand) over this Margaritaville’s coffee. I always get lattes and usually opt for a half portion of one of the flavors. Their drinks come with 4 pumps for each flavor so just something to keep in mind! The color of the latte looks very promising but it felt a little burnt and sometimes if the espresso machine is bad-makes it extremely hard for a barista to pull properly. I get the espresso machines are expensive and their audience here in fort Meyers might not be worth the investment of upgrading the coffee set up. Icecream and food looked fabulous. And it’s neat they have alcohol add ins for the 5’o clock somewheres! Awesome hours and the vibes are, of course, beachy & fun!! If you like a simpler coffee (non espresso based) I’m sure you’ll have no problem getting a nice drink here!”

“I have seen so many good and bad reviews. I think it's all about time of year and time you get there. If it's super busy and you are in a hurry...forget about it. But that goes for almost everyplace you go. There were 4 of us on a Friday night April 10 at 5:00. We had 2 tables to pick from and there were more on the outer deck. It was windy so we chose inside which had an amazing view of the bay. The hostess was super nice and accommodating. After just 2-3 minutes we were greeted by our excellent server (forgot name but a Kentucky gal). Taco soup, shrimp salad, and crunchy grouper. Everything was great. Food prep seemed fast with multiple people bringing it out. The crown royal pour was not over the top great but it was the same or better than most establishments. They do have free parking but you have to get lucky because there are limited spaces. The music (which was upstairs) was outstanding. We sat right next to the twosome singing and playing and it wasn't loud at all. If you want a decent meal at decent prices, ambiance, and a real FMB vibe this is a great place. We will be back!”

“We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The meatballs, lasagna and lobster ravioli were all 12/10! Cocktails were all perfectly balanced as well. Service was top tier and the vibe was great for a nice night out. I highly recommend this place!”

“The Veranda is an absolutely beautiful place. The food is excellant. It is pricey but worth the money. Our waiter had too many tables and he forgot about us a bit. They sent out 2 other staffers to relieve him but they had only 1 table each while he still had at least 4. So the extra staff did not help the service we were lacking.”

Drinks are cheap, the bartenders (especially Tina) can be fun and engaging, and extras like karaoke or the occasional free jello shots add to the charm.

That said, it’s not for everyone. It’s cash only, which can be inconvenient, and service can feel inconsistent depending on the crowd or timing. Some guests have had less than great experiences with how situations were handled, so expectations should be set for a no frills, old school bar vibe.
Overall, it’s a fun, memorable spot if you enjoy dive bars and don’t mind a little rough around the edges energy.”
