“Stopped in for ice cream today. The selections were great. Nice clean store. A bit on the pricey side (two scoops for $13+), but they were good.My biggest complaint would be those very flimsy spoons they give you. You couldn't dig into your ice cream without the spoon bending (see video). Next time, I'll bring my own plastic spoon.“

We had their yeah award-winning chocolate, strawberry, as well as butter pecan, chocolate shake, and rum flavored. “Get a taste of Italy at this cute cafe on McGregor. The second you walk through the door you are greeted in a friendly Italian way. The owners are very friendly and sweet just like the gelato and Italian desserts they offer. While we only had cappuccino and sweets they do have savory options such as panini, lasagna and quiche. The gelato flavors are plentiful and unique...if you're not sure what to have, you can sample the flavors to ensure you end up with the winner. Love the chalk wall as well...great personal touch to the interior of the cafe.“

“Wow! So glad we found this place. Ice cream was amazing. They even had dairy free options for the vegan crowd! What was better than the ice cream was the service from what I would guess are high school and maybe some college kids. So patient with my three kids and they were handling a steady stream of customers like pros. Will definitely be back when I get a chance.“

When entering the restaurant, it’s very open and welcoming. The employees are energetic and kind. I found it difficult at first when trying to find where the flavors were: make sure to read the instructions on how to order on each board, the custard options are very customizable.“

I was scrolling a couple of days and came across one of their posts, with the cupcake specials of the day. My daughter and I love Italian rainbow cookies. They had a rainbow cookie cupcake as a special of the day. We decided to finally stop by the shop and take home a few different types. I'm going to have to say these are probably some of the best cupcakes that we have ever had.*The Italian Rainbow Cake is 3 layers of almond sponge cake, filled with raspberry jam, topped with chocolate ganache, Italian rainbow cookie, and sprinkles.*The Cannoli is a vanilla bean cupcake with chocolate chips, topped with cream cheese buttercream, chocolate, and a cannoli.*The Chocolate Cream is a chocolate cake filled with buttercream topped with fudge frosting and buttercream. *The Lemon Drop is a lemon cake filled with lemon curd, topped with lemon buttercream and lemon curd.If I could give them more stars for their rating, I would in a heartbeat!!“

“A must! Recently ordered a couple of sundaes plus a quart for delivery. As an autumn soul, I ordered the pumpkin ice cream with caramel sauce. Delicious! One of the best I have had. “This place has always been a treat. All of the workers are patient, kind, and most of all know their product well. I have to personally mention Ellie, Sarah, and Claudia. They have a staggering amount of options when it comes to ice-cream flavors, all of which are from Love Boat. Best of all they have plenty of other treats like Açaí, classic candies, boozy milkshakes, and so much more. Definitely a fun place to go with friends on a Friday night.“

“We decided we needed some dessert after our dinner so we typed in frozen yogurt in Yelp and Menchie's came up with good ratings. It was exactly what we expected! They had a great selection of flavors, I would say 8-10 flavors. And you can mix two flavors together for even more flavor! The serving station for the toppings was neat and tidy. They offered several toppings as well as caramel sauce, hot fudge sauce, peanut butter sauce, and marshmallow sauce. The young gal working greeted us when we walked in and offered to answer any of our questions. The total was about $14 for two cups because it is based off the weight of what you loaded your cup with. I loaded mine up! Overall a great experience and we would go back to a Menchie's in the future if we are in the area again!“

“Such a great location for an ice cream shop! They have a tiny inside store and a few tables outside. The line looks intimidating but it moves quick! The flavors were kind of hit or miss. I wish they had descriptions for the original flavors so I didn't have to hold up the line while asking. My favorite was the cookie butter flavor. Unfortunately it wasn't available the second time I went so I ordered the cookies and cream and cookie dough instead. They were extremely disappointing because there was no cookie dough and only one bite of cookie. The vanilla ice cream tastes great but I am just not a fan of plain vanilla and it wasn't what I was looking for. Overall still great ice cream but you have to find a flavor that works for you! PS. They have premade pup cups which is an awesome perk!“

“I consider myself an ice cream aficionado and this was just OK. While I'm sure the alcoholic ice cream flavors are delicious, I tried the s'mores flavor and it was towards the end of the bucket and tasted a little old and "icy". My colleague tried the pistachio and he said it was good but not great. The service was good and it was a beautiful day so we sat outside which was a nice perk to be able to sit outside of the ice cream shop.“

“It is a rare occurrence when a dining experience transcends the process of “consuming food”. The French Press special buffet on 12/24/2023 was one of these times. On this day a group of six of us were treated to superbly prepared and served food that made a sweet memory of Christmas 2023 for us all. The lobster Benedict was amazing with perfectly prepared poached eggs and generous mounts of lobster. The chorizo mini-egg burritos were perfectly spiced. Traditional offerings of bacon, scrambled eggs, lightly seasoned sausage gravy, along with orange zest infused waffles provided choices to satisfy any taste. There were bagels and lochs, fresh fruit, sliced meats/cheeses and fresh tossed salad with a variety of fruits and nuts added. On the “sweet” side of the buffet we relished a finely baked choice of bite-size chocolate croissants, cinnamon swirl cakes and raspberry-filled beignets, all made on-site by the resident pastry chef. To top this all off the French Press presented us with a choice of world-renowned Norman Love chocolates and orange-cranberry mimosas. The service was warm and helpful which is why we will be back soon to make another dining “memory” at the French Press!“

“We visited Sospiri two weeks ago when my son’s soccer team stayed across the street for Weston Cup. Their gelato flavors and texture are excellent. Because we were in South Florida, orange gelato was a must and it did not disappoint. Just the right balance of tart and sweetness. Pineapple, coconut, strawberry, lemoncillo, and vanilla were all wonderful (yes, I had them all over multiple visits during the week - it was that good). Mauro and Antonella (owners), well done.“

“Good experience. Friendly staff...inventive and interesting drive through (hope it doesn't rain!)..smoothies were pretty good. Maybe I'm old school, but not sure why a smoothie has to be $10 for a normal sized drink. I think there is a price/value/revenue equation somewhere here but not sure I can spring that often for $10 smoothies. I do wish you well though! Thank you.“

“Rolled into this strip of establishments with a longing for seafood market. The place was closed so we decided to give this a try and damn was it good. Love boat ain't got nothing that this place doesn't. 36 whole ass flavors that undercut the price of the competition. Great way to top off a night at the seafood market. Only complaint is the flies that were buzzing around as me and my family walked in the door. Definitely a hidden gem, will be returning to this place in the near future.“
