“Off on an adventure to go bowling but the place was booked up. To appease the kids during the wait, we headed over to Spaghy Gelato waited for our friends to arrive, got all 5 kids out of the car to open the door and find it was locked! Strike two of the day! As our heads hung low a woman drove up letting us know she was the owner and they didn’t open until 3. I looked at my watch and it was almost 2:30. The woman offers to let us in anyways and says she can’t do the spaghetti but that she could scoop us ice cream! 🥳 We said “no problem, that’s great,” and thanked her! She proceeds to rush inside offers and lets each kid try multiple samples until they were sure of what they wanted. Then she says she can do the spaghetti for us but it may take awhile and we said that’s no problem! She took each child’s order and was patient when they were indecisive. Everyone got their order and was happily digging in when she comes out and offers each child the option to choose a toy from the little bins which was beyond kind! Then as she is doing this, 2-3 groups of people came in asking if they were open and she said she wasn’t, but since she already helped us, then she would help them too! This woman went well above and beyond with kindness and patience and completely made our kids (and our) day! We will be back for sure and encourage everyone to try it! People and places like this deserve to be shouted from the rooftops 😉 Enjoy!“

“Yum! My husband and I popped through the drive-thru on our way home from dinner, what a treat! Gosh, the ice cream that we got was so nostalgic. The taste reminded me of ambrosia salad. I believe it was the dolphin’s treat.. how delicious!“

“We have been going to Menchie’s on Pine Island road for years now! I love going in and seeing the store host family nights, they always have multiple yogurt flavors to pick from, the staff are always friendly, and let’s not forget about the custom cakes they make!!! Thank you Menchie’s for always making it a great experience when we come in!“

“I went with my husband and our three girls- we all got large gelatos which were able to hold three flavors. Excellent pricing for the large ($8). Absolutely delicious flavors. My girls loved birthday cake while my husband and I are always fans of coffee flavors and coconut! The mint chocolate was wonderful as well, but the best surprise for me was banana dulce de leche. We’ll be back for sure to see what other flavors pop up!“
