“We are “15 year Bonita Bill” people. This was our first return after new ownership and rebuild. IT WAS FABULOUS! Yes, we’ll always have wonderful memories of the place of old but they resurrected this one right. Ethen is the best server we’ve ever had in this area. Jennifer delivers food with timely care and finesse. Bobby Blakey offers talented waterside music with a something for everyone. Management was on top of it! We’ll return more frequently for GREAT FOOD, Ethen’s service, attentive management and staff and an unforgettable time.“

“overall very good. we both got the steak with different sides. it was cooked just right and both of our sides the mash potatoes and Mac and cheese were really good. we are not big fans of fish but they did have few other choices for us to eat which is nice to see. service was good tho I felt rushed but also had to wait so it could have been a little better but other than that it was so great experience.“

“Caleb was definitely on top of servicing the pool lounge area! I can’t attest to the food since we just ordered poolside cocktails. It was very crowded but still found a couple of lounges. Caleb promptly served our cocktails and made his rounds checking on us and keeping us hydrated :) Thanks Caleb!“

“Found this place after a Google restaurant search. We used to come to Ft Myers Beach and stay at The Outrigger. Hurricane Ian destroyed that place so we opted for Margaritaville. After and long pool day we discovered Petey's. Wow, this place is great. The staff is super friendly, and accommodating. The hostess was kind and Sat is at a high-top table. We ordered the Mahi Tacos and the Grouper wrap. While waiting for our entrees, we requested conch fritters. As a local a homestead, Florida Keys person, these conch fritters put those areas to sheme. They were full of conch meat and wonderfully cooked. The tacos and wrap then followed and were as great as the conch starters. Let me not forget about Amanda, our server.vGreat service, great recommendations for food and just so nice. I would whole-heartily recommend this for any size party for food, fun and music. I will definitely be back and if I can get Amanda as a server, I may never leave. Anyway, come here, enjoy the atmosphere, the food, the fun and the desserts. Cudos! You have a returning client Everytime I'm in Ft Myers Beach.“

“Freaking awesome Dive Bar with super cheap drinks. Don't Expect to get a pat on your back if you're feeling down. Get a spine and man (or woman) up. If you're lucky enough to see Tina , make sure you call her Red Queen and give a curtsy.“

“Our favorite did NOT disappoint! For the first time we skipped the oysters for the bacon wrapped shrimp- we ate it so fast I didn’t get a pic…. Delicious, great bacon and even better shrimp! Next up was Cajun shrimp scallop pasta! Oh man- best we have ever had. Smooth cajun cream sauce over ample grilled shrimp and scallops and linguine. Yum!! Had the drink of the day- blackberry mule- perfection. Thanks SOBs for another fabulous evening!!“

“I'm a local and recently spent a fabulous staycation weekend at The Pink Shell with my daughter for her birthday. The resort is fabulous. Excellent service, beautiful rooms, awesome amenities. We dined at Bongos and Jon made our weekend even more special with his fantastic service at the bar. He's the best bartender on FMB! We love Bongos at the Pink Shell and can't wait to return.“

“Although the Island View restaurant just recently reopened to customers, it has not fully opened its rooftop bar area but will be open very soon. That being said, the restaurant portion that is open is beyond comparison with its spectacular views and top notch service.
We ordered the chicken wings (jerk style) as an appetizer and the Fish and Chips and a Pepperoni Pizza.
Everything was very flavorful and made correctly.
The menu ranges from pizza to steamed oysters to various other options.
Our waitress, Karmen went out of her way to make our dining experience even more enjoyable with friendly chat and was very knowledgeable about any questions we had about the menu or any local information that we had questions about.
Overall it was a great experience and we enjoyed our visit.
I would encourage anyone to visit the 6th floor of the Lani Kai and try the Island View restaurant. I can’t wait to return and see how they are doing when the other portion of the rooftop restaurant opens.
Edit: I believe the entire rooftop of the Island View restaurant is open as of 11/21/2025.“
