I played the pool tournament last night, it was doubles and I had a blast, my partner and I came in 4th place so we just barley missed winning a prize but we had an awesome time and well be back again next week. Tonight was my second time visiting this Kava Bar, I came because my friend Kenny who I hang with and shoot pool with at another Kava Bar invited me and told me he thought I would like it. He was right, its a super pleasant environment, big bar with lots of comfy intimate spaces to relax and enjoy a Kava or Kratom beverage with friends, nice pool table, cool people, my new favorite spot! Bartenders Taylor, Amber and Lindsey were all super friendly and made me feel welcome! ? ?“

“Went for lunch for a quick stop while traveling north on i75. Plenty of options for the whole family. Salads were good and the pizza was great. Meatball app was good too. “Our first time at the Buddha and THE BOOTS band burned up the stage. The house was full and ready to dance, drink, sing and have great time. THE BOOTS are stellar musicians and their vocals are the BEST around. Lead singer Kenny Cox is not only a skilled musician, he has real stage presence and knows how to carry the house along with him. Their brand of country includes old and new: Johnny Cash, Travis Tritt, Steve Earle, Merle Haggard, Jon Pardi, Garth Brooks, Kevin Chesney, etc. Needless to say, we will be back on Wednesday nights!“

We’ve been looking for a new “usual” spot for Mexican food, and I’m really glad we have this place a chance!When I first tried their chips and two salsas, I was like, “This is going to be a good meal. I can already tell.”Food: We ordered things we knew we liked so we could see if the quality was there. I got the steak fajitas and burrito special. We were very happy, as it was authentic, homemade, well-plated, and perfectly portioned. I’ve never had fajitas quite like that before: meat and veg combined all together in a tasty sauce. Everything was cooked to order. Superb! ?We had a side of mole to try and flavor was on point. A little thin, but spot-on flavor. Their guacamole is on my top 3!For dessert, we had the tres leches cake (my #1 fave) and it was delicious. It had the perfect crumb texture and was neither too wet or too dry. The whipped cream was a little gummy, but all in all, it was delicious. ?Service: The host was friendly and prompt. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating. Food came out in about 20 minutes, fresh as could be. I wish we had gotten a few more drinks throughout our meal, though.Atmosphere: The atmosphere was very nice, so comfortable. Tonight I decided not to have a drink so I sat down in one of the leather chairs. The salad was greasy and I loved the homemade ginger dressing. The clear soup with mushrooms and spring onions was fantastic. The meat was less seasoned than I like, but the accompanying sauces made everything taste great. The Vegetable Uban was fresh. Next time I’ll get the thinner Soba noodles. They have a great spirits, wine and beer menu at reasonable prices. We had the Portlandia Pinot Noir, one of our favorite wines, and a Summer Delight that was light and refreshing.“
