“As a Google Local Guide Level 7 with over 4.8 million views, I’ve been to a lot of spots—and the World Famous Cigar Bar in downtown Fort Myers is one I know well.
I used to live in Fort Myers for 6 years, and living downtown meant this place was a regular stop for me. It’s connected to Cigar Bar Live, so you’ve got live bands and a great bar scene right next door, which makes the whole setup really fun.
What really makes it stand out is the vibe—dim lighting, cozy chairs and couches, and a relaxed atmosphere that feels welcoming every time you walk in. They also have a humidor on-site with cigars, and you can actually smoke inside, which adds to the classic cigar lounge feel.
Courtni is honestly one of the best bartenders in downtown Fort Myers. She’s knowledgeable, kind, and has that down-to-earth Southern charm that makes everyone feel like family. You can tell she has a ton of regulars for a reason.

“I love coming to the Ranch. I’ve come for maybe 5/6 years and it’s truly a fun, and safe environment. I’ve come many times by myself. The staff is amazing. The dance teachers are the best I’ve run into and I’ve line danced in Nashville often. You can tell they put a lot of care and love into what they do. + I love that you put your resources on YouTube for any of us that miss. I’ve also noticed the past few years the security is constantly getting better which I really appreciate.

I do have one critique but I’m still giving you all 5 stars bc I can give you nothing less after so many good years. I haven’t been in a minute and went tonight with a group of friends. I noticed there’s definitely a change in music which, to be fair things change and I get it. However I do love some good classics and I wasn’t hearing a great mix of it. When my friends went to the booth they were a little taken aback by the attitude and “we don’t play wobble or church clap here” if you truly have blacklisted those songs + songs like it please reconsider. Ik things will continue to change as every good line dance hall does but some of us still like a little mix especially on a daily quiet night like tonight. I don’t want to have to go somewhere else to get to dance those occasionally.

Regardless I still love you all and thank you for all overall making it a place I’ve felt welcome and enjoy coming.“
