“I made reservations in advance for Valentine’s Day at Ember and I’m so glad I did! It was our first time visiting and our waitress Miranda was nothing short of spectacular! She made sure to give us “crash courses” on each meat that we cooked! The environment was welcoming and everyone was super friendly and helpful guiding us along as we cooked. The food is amazing, the steak melts in your mouth. The “peanut” sauce was also delicious. I would highly recommend Ember to anyone I know, you can’t beat the experience. “My husband and I came in for a fresh seafood dinner and this restaurant did not disappoint. Our waiter, Justin, was incredible from start to finish. His extensive knowledge of the menu offerings coupled with his exuberance had us smiling and laughing like we were speaking with an old friend. We decided to create our own tasting of sorts from the fine selections of fresh seafood. Our meal included the NOLA Oysters which were baked and served with seasoned butter, the crab cake appetizer which was serving of lump crab held together by a crispy sear and no filler, as well as the chilled seafood tower. Every bite from start to finish was delectable. We had crab, lobster, tuna tartar, shrimp and oysters. Each bite was more spectacular than the previous as we sampled each offering. We have already decided the next time we are in town that this restaurant will be a must! 5 Stars out of 5!!“

“Visited from southern Delaware over Thanksgiving. Wasn't sure where to eat Thanksgiving dinner, so Googled and Mel's Diner was serving it. Called to make a reservation, but they were booked. Was told they were accepting walk-ins, call on our way and they'd put us on the list. Was able to get seated right away, party of 2! I had the turkey dinner and my beau had ham dinner... delicious, just like home. Our server (Cody?) was lovely and the owner took the time to check on us. It's no wonder Mel's has great reviews. I highly recommend and look forward to our next visit. Thank you, Mel's Diner for hosting Thanksgiving dinner!🙏“

“My dad and I stopped by this diner for a quick breakfast before heading out for a day of fishing, and honestly it ended up being the perfect start to our little father-and-son trip. Nothing fancy, just the two of us sitting down with some good breakfast and hot coffee before spending the rest of the day by the water. It's funny how simple moments like that end up being some of the best ones.

I got the buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy and mannn, that was some proper comfort food lol. The biscuits were soft and buttery, covered in warm, creamy gravy with plenty of savory sausage flavor. My dad went with the breaded pork tenderloin and eggs, and that tenderloin looked seriously good, crispy and golden on the outside while still tender inside. We both had coffee, of course, because an early fishing trip without coffee just doesn't feel right 😂 We also shared some blueberry pancakes that were fluffy, warm and had little bursts of sweet blueberry in every bite. A little syrup on top and those disappeared pretty quickly.

The staff was friendly, service was quick and the whole diner had that comfortable, laid-back morning atmosphere that made us want to sit around and finish our coffee instead of rushing out. We came in just looking to fill our stomachs before fishing, but it honestly added another nice memory to the day. Good breakfast, coffee with my old man and fishing afterward... can't really ask for a better father-and-son morning than that.“

The staff: Every person I've met from the cashier, the waitress, even the people cleaning the tables, have been absolutely wonderful, so kind, welcoming and accommodating! Customer service wise I'd say they are the Chick Fil A of restaurants. I honestly can not think of another restaurant where I have enjoyed the atmosphere this much. The Food: Makes me feel like I'm at home! I have been in Florida since October for work, and when I start missing home, their food hits the spot! Everything I've had has been on point, like my grandmother is in the kitchen! I have started planning my meals for the week around their daily specials! Highly recommend!“

Evelyn was always attentive and friendly to all of the tables located both in the inside bar and outside seating area. “I can't say enough great things about Mellow Mushroom! This is the best pizza in town! Whenever I go I always start with the pretzel bites! So yummy and addicting. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Then if there is room, for dessert, the chocolate brownie or cookie with ice cream! 😋 oh and they have vegan and gluten free items! Can't go wrong here! “Found this place by accident, and will definitely be back. Great service and even better food. The juices were unique and refreshing, and the menu had something for everyone in my family. Being our first time they offered us some of their Holey Donuts which were a big hit. Everyone enjoyed their breakfasts, but the holiday special Double Bacon Parmesan Hash was the star. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!“
