We stopped in for dinner last week.
We were there for just about 2 hours. The service was super slow and the place was not busy at all.
We had to ask the waitress for extra salad dressing 3 times. She barely came back around after that - we had to ask another server for more drinks.

This was our first time dining in at Mel’s. I have to say that service was good, but the food was disappointing! I treated some friends and family who came in from out of town a couple of weeks ago. I had my heart set on the rib eye, but they were sold out. The waitress recommended the NY Strip, so I ordered that. It was so tough I couldn’t eat it, so I took it home to my dog! Visited from southern Delaware over Thanksgiving. Wasn't sure where to eat Thanksgiving dinner, so Googled and Mel's Diner was serving it. Called to make a reservation, but they were booked. Was told they were accepting walk-ins, call on our way and they'd put us on the list. Was able to get seated right away, party of 2!
