“Better buckle up for your taste buds to receive a 3rd degree assault ladies and gentlemen! WOW is all I can say. From the service from Jay in the front of the house, Chef Harold running the ship in the back and making a few special guest appearances in the dining room, and let's not forget dessert chef Scotty (to hottie) for producing some desserts that would make your tongue slap your brain they're so good! Started off with sitting at the chef's counter aka "chefs table" so we could watch the magic happen, with some special avocado amuse bouche to get the party started, then some buffalo cauliflower to get us prepped for the grilled cowgirl ribeye (perfectly cooked) and Harolds grandmothers pasta (woowwwwwweeeeeeeeeee praise sweet baby Jesus) then Scotty recommended a special smores cheesecake that I almost fell out of my chair thinking about... And let me tell you, it was just as good as you can imagine it. (All made in house items, chocolate sauce, cheesecake, dressings, you name it). And last but not least sent us packing with some decadent Norman Love chocolates.... First class evening all around. Can't wait to come back and relive the excitement again soon! (Save me a slice of the famous keylime pie!!)”

They were both so flavorful and complex and we took home plenty for lunch as the portions were huge. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is newly decorated, clean and fresh. I would eat here again in a heartbeat and I certainly will next time I'm in Fort Myers. I have been to Greece and this food is the genuine article- Run, don't walk, to get yourself a fabulous meal!”

The food overall was quite good (especially the prime rib), but would suggest (1) a better cheese with the crackers and grapes and (2) larger portions of the very small salad and green beans. Wide cocktail and beer/wine selection. Service was pretty good if a bit slow at times.Aside from dinner, I was surprised at how clean the train car and restroom were. I was fairly comfortable for the duration for the three-and-a-half hour experience. I was a little disappointed by the actual murder mystery story, but the acting was very good, especially by the Reverend and the Duchess.Do keep in mind that there are four seats per table, so if you go as a couple you'll be seated with strangers.Overall, this was a really good experience and one I'd recommend to visitors and southwest Floridians alike. I'd love to get back on this train once they've moved on to the next mystery and certainly when the bridge across the river has reopened.”

The food is as it should be at any time, I know the workers don't want to be there, but no attitude, they do it quick and correct. I've never even run into cash only at this location, except for when the whole system crashed, the manager pulled out paper and calculators and got it done, it was amazing. And not one person made a fuss about it. Kudos to them on that night for sure.”

“I cannot say enough good things about FK Your Diet. The staff, the food, the conversation, the restaurant’s mission…all of it was just amazing. The staff was funny, friendly, and welcoming. They talked about the restaurant’s mission of feeding foster kids with a clear love for both the kids and the work. All of the dishes they recommended were AMAZING! We got The Traditional, the Jakey French Toast, and a BLT with their homemade mayo. It was fresh, hot, and delicious! While we were eating, Jakey (of French Toast fame) came out to chat with us. He’s the owner’s son and just as passionate about amazing food as he is helping people. The owner stopped by while we were chatting with his son. He told us about the Thanksgiving Pot Pie. We bought one and are anxious to try it! We were so charmed by the food and the people, we decided to become monthly donors.”

“Fat Katz is amazing! The started the Fat Katz Sports, Bistro bar by Daniels Parkway and I-75 many years ago. We love it at first try! Then they expanded into Gateway with breakfast and lunch with Skinny Dogz Brunchery. Now they open another one, Fat Katz Slider Bar at University Village near FGCU or Florida Gulf Coast University. Originally, I wanted to try their sliders but a sign stated they have the Pastrami Rueben Sandwich. So, I ordered my favorite Pastrami Rueben with a side order of black bean over rice and a High Five IPA from our local Fort Myers Brewing Co. The Pastrami Rueben need a little more sauerkraut for my personal preference, but otherwise, it is fine. The black bean over rice is perfect! You can taste the bay leaves and other spices with the cooked beans. This is a meal by itself! The High Five IPA has that distinctive citrus flavors and dry hop with a pine and citrus aroma. This is great combo for lunch and a good way to start the weekend early! Well, sliders will take a back seat for now! May be on the next visit!”

Wide cocktail and beer/wine selection. Service was pretty good if a bit slow at times.Aside from dinner, I was surprised at how clean the train car and restroom were. I was fairly comfortable for the duration for the three-and-a-half hour experience. I was a little disappointed by the actual murder mystery story, but the acting was very good, especially by the Reverend and the Duchess.Do keep in mind that there are four seats per table, so if you go as a couple you'll be seated with strangers.Overall, this was a really good experience and one I'd recommend to visitors and southwest Floridians alike. I'd love to get back on this train once they've moved on to the next mystery and certainly when the bridge across the river has reopened.”

“The sushi rolls are amazing! We had the Lava Drop Roll which was spectacular! The Steak and Chicken hibachi with rice and vegetables, soup and salad was delicious. The salad was greasy and I loved the homemade ginger dressing. The clear soup with mushrooms and spring onions was fantastic. The meat was less seasoned than I like, but the accompanying sauces made everything taste great. The Vegetable Uban was fresh. Next time I’ll get the thinner Soba noodles. They have a great spirits, wine and beer menu at reasonable prices. We had the Portlandia Pinot Noir, one of our favorite wines, and a Summer Delight that was light and refreshing.”
