Even though the place is small it’s clean and neat with trains running overhead of you. The walls are lines with hats from businesses all over this area. They have such a large selection and it’s all in the case right in front of you so you can see what you’re going to order. You stand in front of the ice cream cases to order. Lots of times there are lines, but they move fast. They have just about anything you want from 1, 2 or 3 scoops cones to banana splits. They have regular, waffle, to sprinkle cones and bowls. You name it when it comes to ice cream, they have it. I have always liked Daddy Dees ice cream. It’s not soft, it’s a hard ice cream with lots of flavor. “I was here visiting family and had never heard of Blaze Pizza. I saw on Google that Blaze has a decent rating and the restaurant was close to where we were hanging out, so I decided to place a pickup order online. I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage, a large pepperoni and double cheese, a small gluten free mushroom, and cheese bread.

The restaurant seemed clean. My order was as ready when it was supposed to be. The staff was welcoming. When I got back to my family all of the food was still hot. The flavors were good (I tried all four items that I bought).

Upon looking at my receipt I noticed that I’d been charge a 15% tip which I didn’t know about and certainly didn’t authorize. I tip very well for good service when I dine in, and I am generous with delivery drivers, but I generally don’t tip if I’m picking up my order. I was shocked that a 15% tip would be added to an online order without the consent of the customer. At no point in the online ordering process was the addition of a tip noted.

I called the store for more than 20 minutes but no one answered. I made a complaint online.

The next day I received both an email and a phone call from a manager. They seemed to sincerely want to know what had gone wrong on their end. They were apologetic and compensated for their mistake.

Blaze Pizza certainly needs to address a couple of issues. First, no more automatically charging online customers a 15% tip that they did not initiate. Second, answer your phone.

BUT, I was impressed with their follow up. They won me back with their customer service. I’ll give them another try.”

“My dad always takes me out for breakfast so this time we went to Fowler Street Grill.
The inside is very small and cluttered. We weren’t sure if we can just pick a table or wait for someone to seat us. The vibe is like family, it was evident that the same people eat there often.
The food was really good! I had two eggs over easy with bacon,? toast, and home fries (whenever I go out for breakfast, I always ask them melt American cheese over it with peppers and onions. I call it “sexy home fries”)? I also had a cup of coffee which comes in a real size coffee mug, not a small one the rest of the diners use. ☕️ The only problem I had was that the eggs weren’t completely done, ? it still had the clear, raw part of the egg. I don’t send food back so I just ate everything else because it was soooo good ?

CROSS CONTAMITION IS HAPPENING! my wife took 1 bite of their pizza and threw up 3x and 2 shits AND her stomach started to hurt within 5 mins! left a review on their Google and the owner wants to call us liars. You don't just get sick like that if there is no cross contaminated food. Gloves are not being changed enough, hands are not being washed enough, utensils are not being cleaned enough or well for that matter and who knows what else. already reported this business for food safety concerns. my wife is a cook, serve safe certified and takes cooking VERY SERIOUS and she instantly knew it was cross contaminated, but again the owner thinks people lie about something like this for no reason. 2+ years of this being a favorite pizza spot to now being the absolute worst we have ever dealt with. also, we have ordered the EXACT SAME PIZZA FOR 2+ YEARS... Cecilian pizza with ONLY BACON & PEPERONI... never once has it ever had CHUNCKY CANNED TOMATOS, CHUCKS OF GARLIC, COOKED SHREDDED LETTUCE HIDDEN UNDER THE CHEESE but owner wants to call us liars about it and says it's always been that way... we know what we eat, clearly this struck a nerve with the owner as it should.... YOU GOT SOMEONE SICK! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!”

“Visited from southern Delaware over Thanksgiving. Wasn't sure where to eat Thanksgiving dinner, so Googled and Mel's Diner was serving it. Called to make a reservation, but they were booked. Was told they were accepting walk-ins, call on our way and they'd put us on the list. Was able to get seated right away, party of 2! I had the turkey dinner and my beau had ham dinner... delicious, just like home. Our server (Cody?) was lovely and the owner took the time to check on us. It's no wonder Mel's has great reviews. “We enjoyed a nice dinner at Burntwood Tavern at Bell Tower! The food was very good! The firecracker shrimp appetizer was my favorite part of the meal. Perfectly cooked, breaded, shrimp with the right amount of sweetness and heat to the sauce; served with ranch dressing. My husband enjoyed a crispy chicken sandwich, same sauce as the shrimp. I ordered chicken Parmesan. The Alfredo sauce on the pasta was a nice touch, however, the chicken was slightly overcooked. I only ate a few bites of the chicken. Aesthetically, the restaurant is very pleasing! They offer inside and outside dining. Our server, Kien, was delightful! We will be returning!!”

“On April 6, 2023 our family came in to celebrate three birthdays - 88, 61, and 27, plus there was all ages younger, older and in-between. Our waitress, Karissa P, was better than awesome. Handling things for a 3 year old to the 88 year old. She made the evening better and fun. Just wanted to say thank you and appreciate her great job!!!!!!”
