11 Best Craft Breweries near Fort Myers

Fort Myers Brewing Company Pubs • $
12811 Commerce Lakes Dr #28, Fort Myers

“Great vibes, food truck options, live music, dog friendly, and great beers. Came here on a Thursday night and was surprised to find this bustling brewery in the back of an industrial park! The space is pretty large, and had both indoor and outdoor seating. There were several food trucks options like pizza and pierogis. Lots of folks had pups and were dancing to the live music. The brewery had several beers on tap and they do flights which we love! We particularly enjoyed the Mosaic Grouper if you like smoother IPAs, a strawberry lemonade sour which was light and refreshing, and a cherry chocolate stout. Overall, this was a super fun spot with lots of options and we will definitely be back!“

“This brewery is a must-go when visiting the Fort Myers/Sanibel area! Hanging at Point Ybel Brewing was one of the highlights of our vacation this week. We were really impressed with the beer, lots of variety & you can tell a lot of thought went into the recipes. Ten IPA & Pineapple Snook Bite were our faves. Fun & chill atmosphere, too! Good crowd of locals & owner was super welcoming. They also had great merch if you’re looking for a local souvenir. Thanks for the good times!“

“Our first time eating at BJ's. Lots of different dishes to chose from. Came with family to celebrate my sons birthday. Only bad thing was a few items we requested to order were not available. Was a little disappointing as it was the reason my son picks BJ's for his birthday dinner, but overall food was good, and our server was excellent. Made reservations about a week in advance, was able to add 2 more people to reservation about 2 ours prior to dinner time. Once we arrived we were seated right away. We will definitely be back.“

“This place is a hidden little gem of beer happiness in downtown Cape Coral. It is owner operated, with a small dedicated staff that is always cheerful and can help you find the right beverage for your taste buds. The selections were in the hundreds and if there is something on the shelf you like they even have an automatic chiller so within 5 minutes or so it's ready for your palette. The taps are rotated frequently and they are always updated on Untappd as well. Darts, video games and lounge couches plus outdoor seating really fleshes out this venue. Stop by sometime, you will be thankful you did!“

Eight-Foot Brewing Brewery • $
1520 SE 46th Ln, Cape Coral - 6.85 miles

“It's been a slow journey for me with Eight Foot. When they first started, I wasn't much of a fan. Years later, they moved to a much more accessible location. The bar maid was very nice, but didn't seem to be "beer knowledgeable". They don't brew very many styles to choose from, but the West Coast IPA is hands down their best. The light bodied beers are a hard sell because people that drink them compare them to mass produced brews. It looks like they have a nice place to expand in. Just need some acoustic guitarists and more parking lots! I've always wished these guys the best- the Cape needs more micro breweries (real ones not the pretend kind).“
