“Stopped by here today for the first time as the other reviews looked good. Our office had the Al pastor , Birria, Chorizo, pollo and the Asada tacos. The green and dipping sauces are very good, fare warning if you can’t handle spicey then don’t get the red one, if you can then definitely get it! Really good flavoring . In order of what I’d recommend trying is the birria, al pastor , chorizo, steak and chicken last. The chicken pieces did seem a little too chewy for the few of us that tried it . Over all this spot is very reasonably priced if you’re looking for a super quick and tasty bite to eat.“
“Taco Works offers unique and interesting flavors. It's not authentic and it's not tex Mex, it is a refreshing take on tacos that is worth giving a try. The McGregor store has an immaculate atmosphere good for families, intimate couples or lunch-break drive-ins. Service is quick and the staff is very friendly and helpful.“
“Went here for dinner and the atmosphere was amazing! The music was good and the decor was super fun and unique. We got the shrimp cargot for an appetizer and it was so buttery and delicious! My boyfriend got the poke bowl and I got the vegetarian noodles. There could have been more seasoning but my server was excellent about trying to make sure I enjoyed the dish so they brought me more spices and offered to add meat to it to give it a bit more savory of a taste. “Stopped in here tonight to grab a Coke and to my surprise they had the Coke in a glass bottle (the BEST kind there is) && warm churro chips that were amazing!!! Colin helped explain the menu and gave us some awesome recommendations to try next time, as we had already had dinner tonight but will DEFINITELY be back since the customer service and snacks were great! Also Colin let us know they are now open until 3 AM on Fridays & Saturdays making them the ONLY place to get food on the weekends after 2 AM in Down Town Fort Myers ??“

“Alright so I am about 4 visits in and can hands down say this is one of the best authentic taco spots I've visited in SWFL. This location is side by side with a mexican market so its awesome to grab some mexican candy on the way out. There is option to sit in and eat as well as outside seating. You have to pay for your tacos at the register and bring the receipt to the counter to get your tacos. They have choices of asada, al pastor, barbacoa & chicken. They are served directly off the flat top so they are nice and hot. They come on authentic hand made corn tortillas. You can request for the tacos to have onions and cilantro loaded on them which I 100% recommend. There is a nice selection of pan dulce available close to the taco counter (see photos).They also have a station of flavored agua which you can also purchase at the register. “walked in on a Sunday morning around 10a before heading to the airport and it was quiet. Service was quick, food was great. The nacho plate easily feeds 2-3 people. Steak and pastor tacos were a nice size with good flavor. But lunch rush came in shortly after, so come early. Seating fills up quick“
“Oh my goodness. What a gem tucked away in San carlos! Sopas were the greatest thing we ordered. The guacamole was fresh and chunky! The burrito was huge! My tosadas were soggy by the time I got home but that didn't deter from how amazing they were. “We tried El Local for the first time last night and it was excellent authentic Mexican food. It’s hard to find chilaquiles outside the Southwest so that was my first choice and they were excellent. My wife said the shrimp tacos on blue corn tortillas were the best she ever had. The prices were very reasonable.“
