“I am very impressed with the quality and taste of the chicken tacos and rice I ordered for lunch today. I've worked nearby for almost five years and realized today that B&M was inside the corner store. The tacos were so good that I reluctantly shared one (I'm food greedy) with a friend, and she agreed that the tacos are perfectly seasoned/spicy, and they're very delicious with all the fixings. I'm so happy a conveniently located place to eat has authentic food that tastes this good. You can't beat service from people that make you feel like you've been a long time friend. The staff: Every person I've met from the cashier, the waitress, even the people cleaning the tables, have been absolutely wonderful, so kind, welcoming and accommodating! “Stopped in on our way to an Everblades game. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes as a starter. Dinner consisted of the filet, which was cooked perfectly, alongside black eyed peas and collard greens; both tasty and sufficiently southern. We also enjoyed the chicken pot pie, served with sweet potato souffle and mac and cheese.I asked for a mezcal old fashioned, which can be a bit of an obscure request, but they had no problem making it for me, and it was amazing!Nice ambiance and atmosphere, as well as GF options clearly labeled on the menu. “Our group of 4 stopped in for a late lunch yesterday on our way to Punta Gorda Airport. We had a great server, Beth, who was friendly & helpful. Our meals, chicken dumplings, chicken strip, & my fav, biscuits & sausage gravy, were all delicious! The only negative was trying to pay our bill & there was a return problem that had the Mgr & new worker tied up way too long. The manager finally took the 2 ladies ahead of me & I paid too.“
“Food is prepared extremely hot and fresh. The fried food is not the least bit greasy, that tells you it is cooked at the correct temperature. The Chef times the food prep using an Alexa app so nothing is over or under cooked. Everything is well seasoned and taste amazing. The service is personal and professional.
