Based on reviews, Rib City - Plantation offers exceptional service, with staff like Heather treating solo diners as well as a big table. The food can be amazing, with large and juicy chicken, moist and buttery garlic toast, great coleslaw, and super tender ribs with just the right flavoring. The Coconut Creme pie is crazy good and shareable. Sides like Mac & cheese, applesauce, cobette, and baked potato are available. However, experiences vary; one visit featured a much smaller sandwich than usual, while another had slightly overcooked ribs and brisket that wasn't tender or flavorful. Portion sizes can be small for the price, and a lost ticket caused a wait without compensation. Takeout ribs, shrimp, fries, and beef brisket were enjoyed, though the baked beans tasted like canned Van Camps with no flavor. The restaurant is very clean, staff are nice and friendly, and prices are moderate.
