Our first experience a year prior, seated outdoors, delivered an especially memorable evening marked by relaxed ambiance and attentive service. The latest visit, however, placed our party in a high-traffic area adjacent to the main restaurant flow. While the noise level remained manageable, the constant movement created a subtle distraction that diminished the otherwise convivial atmosphere. Service stood out as a highlight. Our server was knowledgeable, personable, and confident in his recommendations. His guidance led to an excellent wine pairing that complemented the evening beautifully and elevated the overall dining experience. The indoor ambiance offers warm rustic touches consistent with the trattoria concept, though it lacks the distinctive character and intimacy that make the outdoor seating particularly appealing. If you haven't been yet, please don't miss out on Amber Cove Restaurant in Naples! The atmosphere is beautiful and so cozy, and the food tastes just as amazing as it looks. For our meals, my husband loved the Branzino special, and my braised short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We wrapped up dinner with their light and airy key lime pie, which was wonderful.
A huge shoutout to the owner, Tim, who walks around checking on everyone with genuine kindness. But the absolute highlight of our night was sitting at the bar having dinner with Brian, the mixologist. Brian is extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu, super funny, and kept us laughing all night long. He made an already great evening truly unforgettable. Five stars all around“

Everything we ordered was delicious, but the pizza was especially impressive, and the Carbonara was absolutely exceptional. The Pork Ragu was another highlight—easily a 10/10 and something I would order again without hesitation.

What makes this place even better is the atmosphere and the people behind it. Truman was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely great at what he does. A special shoutout to him for making the experience even more enjoyable. The owner is also fantastic and clearly takes pride in creating a restaurant that feels welcoming to everyone.

We waited 45 minutes for a table, got to the table and waited 30 to 40 minutes for our mixed drink. We received our food in about 20 minutes, which was great. Jonathan the server was very apologetic. I went 2 weeks ago and Mary Kate my bartender/server was horribly slow. I had one drink and wings and took about an hour on a Sunday about 1pm. She had no sense of urgency and was not attentive at all. I love the place, but can't continue to go if this slow service is the norm from the bar. At the Tampa location the service was great and they had not one table available. Sarasota needs to step it up!“

“I’m new to the area and this was my second time here. Let me tell you, if you are looking for a Taco Tuesday, this is where it’s at and Tuesday is way busier than it is on a Saturday 😅

Anyway, back to the food. I am picky with my tacos and I tell you the carne asada steak taco does not miss. While it is one big one (I personally prefer two smaller ones) it is very good and very filling. Stuffed with meat and all the good stuff, the meat is so flavorful I didn’t even use the pictured salsa and I AM A SALSA GIRL! That’s how good it was! Also my cucumber margarita was very refreshing, not too sweet and didn’t use sour mix 🥳 I hate to say this but the cucumber margarita is better than their regular margarita for some reason. So do with that information as you will. I definitely will be back, Mike the bartender is very personable and to the point and funny.

Oh and it is like a Tex-Mex bar and they do play country music which is funny and they did have a live band around 6 playing on this day if you’re a live music lover like myself (and it wasn’t too loud) 😊 and the reason I’m giving it a 4 and not 5 is because the high top tables surrounding the bar are very close to the bar chairs and you almost have to squeeze through. That’s it. But anyways, I will be back 😁“

We started off with deviled eggs, followed by a California panini and a burger accompanied by sweet potato fries. All the food was delicious, and the shakes look delicious.“
