We dine there regularly but when we walked in we saw none of the regular staff and the place had an odd vibe about it. KC always has some interesting appetizer specials but we were to,d there were. No specials. At this point w3 asked if the restaurant is under new ownership. Thankfully it isn't and our meal was excellent as always. From the moment we pulled up and was greeted by a really personable and professional valet we had high hopes.Next were immediately seated by friendly hostess to what felt like the best table ( corner with view of river ) then greeted by our lovely, efficient & attentive waitress.We all opted for the 3 course dinner and it was amazing. I had the delicious short ribs and was casually mentioning to my friend there was a little fat in the middle. Waitress overheard and she and manager could not have acted quicker, insisting on replacing my meal! Coming from the midwest, a hush puppy is a dry and offer overcooked piece of corn bread. You HAVE to try their hush puppies... they are just pure heaven. The flavor, the soft and fluffy inside, the tangy sauce that ties it all together. Wow! I also had their coconut shrimp, and they were tremendous. Clam chowder is one of the best I have ever had and the calamari is definitely the best I have ever had. I've never had dessert because the plates are huge, but I heard they're great. We just talked to the nice folks at the table next to us and they are from New England. They said this is the only place they'll eat in this area for Maine lobster and chowder.“
“The Hampton Social in Naples is located inside the Mercato shopping area. We have been here several times and the food and service is always great. The staff is very friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Make a reservation cause they book up face. There is live music inside on certain days. There is a large center bar and the restaurant has a modern chic atmosphere There is parking but there is also a valet which cost about $13.“

I would stay away from the cauliflower bites, they were not great. The chairs are horrible! if you are not 105 pounds, don’t plan to spend more than 20 minutes in those chairs. If they would switch out the chairs and get something more comfortable, I would’ve given this place a 5-star.“
