“This is our favorite “special occasion” restaurant. The food is easily some of the best I’ve ever had, the problem is, it’s so good that it makes it hard to try other dishes on the menu. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with the most flavorful, perfectly cooked comfort food. And always save room for the jewel cake.“

“Great lunch at Kareem’s today. Our waitress (Bosay (?)), was beautiful, pleasant and knowledgeable. The garlic sauce is amazing as was the bread and all the entrees. We shared 3 entrees and hummus between 4 adults and had plenty to bring home for later. Definitely will be back.“

“My husband and I had the pleasure of trying Lavender for the very first time. We stopped in for dinner and were immediately greeted with a beautiful smile from our sever, Victoria. She was a delight— she recommended some of her favorites which we proceeded to order. I have to say the service by the entire team was just terrific!
The lamb chops and short ribs were outstanding as were the fresh vegetables that accompanied the main courses. The owner came over to chat with us as well.
I was impressed by his graciousness and by the entire team’s treatment of us.
As an added treat, they also brought over a beautiful poached pear for dessert—, on the house! It not only looked like a piece of art , but it was also absolutely delish. . If you want a -Mediterranean restaurant that tastes like “home”—and where you feel like family this is the place for you!“

“Love to cook and getting educated about healthy eating, fresh, no seed oils etc. The menu here had some intriguing descriptions so tried tonight for dinner. Their pre fixe menu for $37 was a bargain. Soup ( red lentil) and salad outstanding. Pancetta carbonara on home made pappardelle…..oh my goodness. Decent wine selection but $17 for a glass of Chardonnay, really?? Will be back to try their lunch menu without wine. Service was excellent!!“

Alexis (server ) was very attentive, helpful and pleasant . Our food came out a little bit cold but still tasty at which point Sam (manager ) checked on our table and was sure to send our feedback to the kitchen and offer to rectify the issue . All in all the atmosphere is fun and lively and the staff made up for anybody other shortcomings that had arrived . Will try again .“

“Not only is the food incredible the customer service is over the top! I went to a private party and my food was made separately because of a nut allergy. We just let them know I had an allergy and they took it from there. Highly recommend for some authentic Indian food 😀“

“I love the place, but the Sarasota Location needs faster bartenders. In addition, they need a place for guest waiting for a table to order a drink at the bar. We waited 45 minutes for a table, got to the table and waited 30 to 40 minutes for our mixed drink. We received our food in about 20 minutes, which was great. Jonathan the server was very apologetic. I went 2 weeks ago and Mary Kate my bartender/server was horribly slow. I had one drink and wings and took about an hour on a Sunday about 1pm. She had no sense of urgency and was not attentive at all. I love the place, but can't continue to go if this slow service is the norm from the bar. At the Tampa location the service was great and they had not one table available. Sarasota needs to step it up!“

“Absolutely incredible experience! We are so glad we discovered Trail Café & Grill during our vacation even the drive was completely worth it.

Breakfast was outstanding. The Eggs Florentine were perfectly prepared and absolutely divine. The avocado toast was fresh and delicious, and My Boy! truly enjoyed the strawberry whipped cream waffles — they were amazing. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and you can truly taste the chef’s talent in every bite.

The atmosphere is warm and thoughtfully designed, making you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The service was exceptional — our coffee arrived right away, and the staff consistently checked in with refills and genuine care. The owner even stopped by to say hello, which made the experience feel even more personal and welcoming.
