We had dinner there Sunday and a couple of days later I realized my wallet was missing. I called in hoping for the best, and to my surprise (and relief!) they had it safe and sound- with EVERYTHING still inside! So very grateful for people who do the right thing. Next up was Cajun shrimp scallop pasta! Oh man- best we have ever had. Smooth cajun cream sauce over ample grilled shrimp and scallops and linguine. Yum!! I have visited this place since it opened its doors and it was only half the size it is now... and it is understood that with time and inflation the prices have had to increase but it is already somewhat exaggerated... some things have increased 200% in price. price. Their authentic gumbo and creole jambalaya will warm your heart. If you happen to want an even warmer heart, you can up the heat with the ghost pepper version. You will encounter some great cooks and some attentive servers who will make your visits habit-forming!“

“The entire experience at at the pink shell is always fantastic. We have been coming every year for the past 4 years. The service and cleanliness is unparalleled. The Beach, the main attraction is absolutely beautiful. Couldn't recommend the Pink Shell more. Come visit! Jon and Brian from Cleveland at the bar were awesome. Also Chester was a delight. And main man Gary at the desk took excellent care of us. Further more the best breakfast and view in all of Fort Myers.“

Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, which fit the laid-back island vibe perfectly. The pool bar setting made lunch feel extra casual and enjoyable—easy, breezy, and exactly what you want while on Captiva. Not quite perfect, but definitely a place we’d happily return to.“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“
