“First time but not our last. Food was excellent. Server was attentive and made great suggestions. It was a Monday night, in season, we made reservations and arrived promptly at 5:30 and was surprised it was empty with only a few other patrons. This was only the 2nd Indian restaurant I've been to and I can't wait to go back and try something new! We enjoyed the Tamarind Eggplant appetizer, Chicken Korma, I had the option to increase the heat and went with medium, which was perfect. Others ordered Mango Shrimp with added heat to spicy which was very good. The dry fruit & nut Peshwari Naan was tasty, more like a dessert or appetizer then for dipping into the entree sauces. It was my Birthday and they surprised us with a serving of carrot halwa and 2 gulab jamoon (fried cheese dumplings in sweet syrup) for desert..both of which were very tasty, as I was not sure at first what to expect, but I'll be going back and ordering them again!“

“This place is the perfect casual relaxed Tikki bar. The guacamole is to DIE for !!!! I ordered it on the suggestion of Kat the barlass, whose service was absolutely incredible !! I followed the fresh made guacamole with the grilled ribeye and it was a perfect blend of flame kissed savorieness and a very slight scald flavor to give it some earthiness. The prices are reasonable the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. This place is worth driving out of your way for. You will NOT be disappointed!!!“

“This Cafe was so good that we visited it twice during our week on Sanibel Island! The breakfasts were delicious, and the lunch menus were, too! (Breakfast is available all day…to 2 pm!) Everyone from the servers to the cooks to the checkout people were super-friendly. The servings are generous and the tables are unique objects of art, having designs of shells under glass. I also picked up a beautiful handmade pottery mug from a resident artist at the checkout!“

“We had a reservation last night on arrival they said they had to cancel because the computer was down and could not take credit cards. We said we had cash, they then said it could be a long wait before we would be served as kitchen also relied on the computer. We took our chances went in and waited, eventually had a great meal ! Perseverance is omnipotent , from a mixed race party.“

“My friends and I have been coming to Sanibel for 24 years. This year was hard for me personally. Recently diagnosed with Alpha Gal a severe allergy to many things including meat dairy eggs and others. Already was allergic to gluten. I was afraid I wouldn't have food options on the island until I found The Sanibel Sprout. Their coconut bacon BLT saved my life and I went there 5 out of 7 days. The ladies there are amazing and they even have Bible verses painted on shells you can buy. I would highly recommend and just wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of me!“

“Picture it.. Minneapolis 2026.. it's -20 for the 10th day in a row and you're over it, so you fly to Ft Myers to thaw out. There's 2 hours before you can check into your air b&b so you pull up your pub pass and see that you're 1/2 a block away from a place, so what the heck... let's go!

That was one of the best vacation choices we've ever made. From the moment we walked in Shane had us on her radar. We found a spot at the bar and she immediately greeted us. She was amazing at helping us pick out the best things to drink. We tried one or two and landed on our favorites pretty quick. Shane was super knowledgeable about all of the beers when others would come in and ask questions about them as well.

Then Shan arrived and it got real. She was also super knowledgeable about all of the beers on tap and the two got to tag teaming the bar like absolute pros! Conversations began and between the two of them we got a pretty amazing layout of the food scene in Ft. Myers and just like that, all of my carefully laid plans for meals for the next 3 days were turned on their head.

In the end we all agreed that even though it was only 63 degrees in Ft. Myers it was still better than freezing to death in all of our home states. We finished our drinks and said farewell with sad faces but happy that we had gone off of our rails and tried this place on a whim. Thank you ladies, for helping us kick off our vacation in only the best way possible! This is definitely an experience we will be talking about for years to come!“
