“Where do I start? Well, you will walk In to a very fun and laid back atmosphere that is crewed by a very young but professional and efficient team. The menu is mostly made up of seafood dishes but there are a few land lover options. We opted for the conch fritters, conch chowder and Ceasar salad to start which were all amazing. The chowder and fritters had more conch meat in them then any other restaurants I have tried. We washed the appetizers down with extremely cold and fairly priced beers. For the main course we chose a blackened shrimp scampi and blackened scallop scampi both of which were absolutely amazing. The place was packed and again run by a team of young professionals that kept the operation running like a Swiss made watch. Erin, who seemed to be our main server really stuck out handling the bar, taking tables in the dining room, handling to go orders and working the dish machine without skipping a beat and maintaining a smile and pleasant attitude. We will return to this location every time we are in ft myers!!“

“Great little establishment, one of the best burgers I have had in quite some times. Good portions and right by the water. Staff were kind and knowledgeable about the area. Their atmosphere was hole in the wall style which I love.Dietary restrictions: Nothing labeled as gluten free, but truly wasn't an expectation with the type of reasturant. My Gluten Free party member ate a burger without a bun just fine so that's a win in our book.“

The food was AMAZING ? ? ? we ordered the crab cakes, seafood shepherds pie, peel & eat shrimp, fried conch, the iconic patty melt and a key lime pie so we could taste a few different things. EVERY BITE was deliocious. The combination of hot, fresh, and well prepared meals, mixed with great staff and an island vibey atmosphere, made our 1st (and definitely not our last) trip to Blue Dog Bar & Grill an experience! “When we got there, there wasn't much parking. Which I understand for a small town local business that got hit by the hurricane ? and is trying to rebuild as well as possible. But, there were many bees, no air conditioning, and an "eh" vibe to it. ?. 3 of us got the pulled pork. It was quite dry and in clumps. But, still great tasting. The potato salad was amazing ?! The beans..... Were interesting....Tasting.....A bit spicy And thick....But good ??.....We got there and the entrance was through back which had many wasps flying around. We had to walk through the whole building through the back just to get to the register, where you order and pay at the same place/time. The whole building had a very interesting vibe......it was quite expensive as well. For 3 pulled pork sandwiches ? (each with a side), a brisket sandwich ?, a meal of brisket with a side, 2 beers, and 2 waters, it was $91.85!!!“

“St. Pattys day we listened to live music, ate spicy seafood next to the busy channel watching boat parties go by or pull up to party. We shared breadsticks, fresh drinks, and respite from the sun under a canopy right at the rivers edge. Always fun to watch the boats go by. Servers are fast, knowledgeable, and great. Food portions are big and we couldn't finish everything but took it home for later. Great time.“

“Sisters! Wow! Great food. Fun outdoor atmosphere. Deck dining with umbrellas for shade. Indoor atmosphere seems old school and clique-would recommend seating outside. Menu has great Italian fare offerings. Lots of apps, salads and entrees. Our server Jax was amazing!! It was a busy Saturday. Takeout was happening and all tables were full! We were a large party and he more than accommodated all of our requests, he was generous, helpful and happy. The other servers and hostesses we encountered looked miserable and acted so- we were so pleased to have Jax! Calzone, pizza, tuna salad, Cesar salad, chicken Parmesan, all tasted great! The dipping oil is very tasty to accompany the bread prior to the meal. Would definitely come back here next time we are in Boca Grande“

“My favorite place on the island for coffee and their incredible breakfast sandwiches. It’s always our first stop when we arrive and our last stop before heading to the airport. Do not miss out on their flavored ice lattés, seriously the best I’ve had and they don’t taste artificial or syrupy. Love supporting this amazing female-owned business!“

“Normally when restaurants open there are a lot of kinks to work out the first month or so. Not the case here! It’s been open two weeks and I have been here three times. I am surprised the service is so good for as busy as it is, and the food is even better. I have taken the time to complement bartenders, servers, etc on how good everything is. Last night I was there and I was going back and forth on whether to get the chocolate cake desert. The bartender said if I didn’t like it she wouldn’t charge me. That kind of service folks is what keeps me coming back. I can’t recommend this place high enough. Oh and to top it off, on weekends they have dedicated parking spots for motorcycles. Awesome!“

“This is another fun place—a restaurant next to the marina (Boca Grande)—. So, good food, reasonable prices (I had BLT, delicious and under $20.00), but service just a bit slow. No wonder: people were lined up outside. We waited over 40 minutes—but it was worth it.“
