“Restaurant setting gets a 5, food gets a 3, which equals a 4 overall. Really nice marina setting in Bokelia. The venue is small but has a nice vibe, views, and service. The food was another story. Two of us had grouper sandwiches, and two of us had grouper platters (no bun). The sandwiches were (reportedly) OK, but the platters were not. The grouper in the platters was like small dried-out dollar pancakes. It's very disappointing for a restaurant chain that has been a mainstay in the area for many years. The operation on McGregor is not like this one. (food-wise).“

“The Thanksgiving buffet was absolutely the best! Delicious turkey, prime rib, ham, and all the amazing sides. Every employee who worked that day gave their all, creating a warm, festive atmosphere and making sure everyone felt cared for! “After a long day of driving, this place was exactly what we needed. The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming, with all staff smiling. Jody, our server, was attentive and pleasant. I had the Caesar salad with seared tuna, and it was superb (photo). My wife had the "small" shrimp and grits, and it was tasty as well as a generous portion. We shared the mango key lime pie, which was delicious. Sometimes you just get lucky; tonight was one of those times.“

“Drove from Venice to Placida and it was 100% worth it for Smokin Jerry’s Tiki Bar and Grill and of course the wonderful sunset 🌅 The food was excellent all around, but let’s talk about the wings. I’m from Buffalo — so I’m legally required to judge wings at a higher level. 😆 And I’ll say this… they passed the test. Crispy, flavorful, cooked right. No sauce soup, no soggy nonsense. Legit. Might have a new wing spot . Those smoked wings are fire 🔥 Josh was our waiter and he absolutely crushed it. Attentive without hovering, refills magically appeared before we even had to ask, and he kept the whole experience smooth and fun. The guy runs his section like a pro. Great tiki vibe, great service, great food. We’ll definitely make that drive again — Ask for Josh. He’s the real deal. 🔥 #GoBills #BillsMafia“

“My mom and I come here every single day and I just have to say that the best team that helps us is Ethan, Eileen and the manager Jordan. They always have the best attitudes make the best drinks and will have amazing conversation. Pretty much don’t even have to order anymore because they memorized it so quickly even when we switch up our drinks thank you guys for being so awesome! You are a big reason we come to your store! They should get a raise!“
