5 Best Bar & Grill near Bokeelia

“Restaurant setting gets a 5, food gets a 3, which equals a 4 overall. Really nice marina setting in Bokelia. The venue is small but has a nice vibe, views, and service. The food was another story. Two of us had grouper sandwiches, and two of us had grouper platters (no bun). The sandwiches were (reportedly) OK, but the platters were not. The grouper in the platters was like small dried-out dollar pancakes. It's very disappointing for a restaurant chain that has been a mainstay in the area for many years. The operation on McGregor is not like this one. (food-wise).“

“food: 10/10 - my dad and i ordered the Grouper Sandwich and Philly Cheesteak (respectively), grouper was perfectly cooked and well seasoned! steak was also nicely seasoned and altogether was great! Creme Brulee was very good as well, nice and sweet but not too sweet.

service: 10/10 - everyone was so nice! staff treated us very nicely, and service was fast and food came hot always.

atmosphere: 9.5/10 - very clean! bathroom was very clean, and smelled fresh as well (thankfully lol) and the music choices were nice! crowds were a little loud at times but that's no problem for me.

summary: 10/10 would recommend! i think i'll be coming back soon. thank you, Burnt Store Tavern! :)“

“It is a fine outdoor tropical setting with exceptional staff that are helpful but not hovering. The kitchen creates great food. The beach is the standard fantastic Florida beach. There are umbrellas with lounge chairs provided and towels as well. All one needs to bring is themselves and swimming clothes.“
