“Recently took in a Florida Everglades hockey game at the Hertz Arena.We arrived early so that we could eat at Breakaway Sports Pub prior to dropping the puck. The place is really nice. The food is delicious. The servers were great! My only suggestion would be that if they could add Samuel Adams to their draft beer selection. I really enjoyed the experience.BTW...there are great views of the arena from the Pub.“
“Really enjoyed my visit here with my husband and baby. Their Mezza sandwich was really good! Normally, restaurants put vegetables in not a fan of on sandwiches. But this one was as tasty as the chicken club. Good vegetarian options. And the bartender is excellent. My cosmopolitan was fresh and delicious. All the servers were very friendly. Tonight was my second time visiting this Kava Bar, I came because my friend Kenny who I hang with and shoot pool with at another Kava Bar invited me and told me he thought I would like it. He was right, its a super pleasant environment, big bar with lots of comfy intimate spaces to relax and enjoy a Kava or Kratom beverage with friends, nice pool table, cool people, my new favorite spot! “Our group of 6 arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night. We got drinks from the bar as they told us of an hour wait; beautiful night so no problem. The crown royal on the rocks was a super generous pour- I'm from the Chicago area and usually get half the alcohol and charged a lot more so this was a welcome change. The server was top notch and somehow memorized all 6 orders and no mistakes when the food came. Orders included fried shrimp. white fish and shrimp tacos. Side dishes: steak fries, sweet potato fries, french fries and clam chowder. Everything was great. I was especially happy with the home made steak fries. I guess the cole slaw left a little to be desired. It was a great night with views of the marina as the day turned to evening. Glad that the Junkanoo is up and running even though I miss the one on the beach.“

“The atmosphere is great, the beer selection was great, the brisket burger (burger toped with brisket and bacon) was great! I got this burger by accident, MIL ended up with my smoked brisket burnt ends melt which was good as well but a little greasy, FIL also had the brisket melt after receiving the ribs which were the worst ribs any of us have every had. He and our kids got ribs, my son wouldn't eat them, and this kid eats everything. The waitress knew the ribs were not good here, and she almost told us not to get them from what she said. They comped the bill and quickly provided different food. My wife had the backend salmon. It was dry, not bad, but not great. The green beans needed more cook time or should have just been served raw. Fries were great! Mac was pretty good as well. Why are they so busy? Long wait, but this place was busy every day we drove buy for a week. Looks like anything burger is outstanding. Mine was. Overall, the wait staff was great.“

“Sunday night, late.... this is the place to go. Very eclectic spot with some excellent off the wall pizza. Walked in and staff was so cool and inviting. Full bar, great artwork, cool lighting, neon wall scapes. Can't wait to go back and listen to live music.We had pizza, but have to highly recommend the fried pizza dough covered in powdered sugar, and served with the best homemade raspberry jam known to man. “Our first time at the Buddha and THE BOOTS band burned up the stage. The house was full and ready to dance, drink, sing and have great time. THE BOOTS are stellar musicians and their vocals are the BEST around. Lead singer Kenny Cox is not only a skilled musician, he has real stage presence and knows how to carry the house along with him. Their brand of country includes old and new: Johnny Cash, Travis Tritt, Steve Earle, Merle Haggard, Jon Pardi, Garth Brooks, Kevin Chesney, etc. Needless to say, we will be back on Wednesday nights!“

“A fun place for brunch. Not much brunch/breakfast food except for a breakfast sandwich but food was good. Got a side salad and some smoked wings and both were good. With 3 mimosas, bill was still only in the 20$ range which is very reasonable these days. Cheap mimosas and a great outdoor seating area makes it a great place to meet friends. We were very happy, as it was authentic, homemade, well-plated, and perfectly portioned. I’ve never had fajitas quite like that before: meat and veg combined all together in a tasty sauce. Everything was cooked to order. Superb! ?We had a side of mole to try and flavor was on point. A little thin, but spot-on flavor. Their guacamole is on my top 3!For dessert, we had the tres leches cake (my #1 fave) and it was delicious. It had the perfect crumb texture and was neither too wet or too dry. The whipped cream was a little gummy, but all in all, it was delicious. ?Service: The host was friendly and prompt. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating.
