And Ayoub delighted us with recommendations and tips about Morocco (where we're visiting soon)...The food was one of the best meals we've ever had and we're world travelers 10 months a year ....Vegetarian options: They will make you happy!Parking: Plenty of parking when we visited in April”

“March 29,2024DELICIOUS!Wonderful service and excellent food!Reservations are a must. We were a group of 12 but were split into a table for eight and one of four but we were informed of this in advance.Everything was top notch. Our server was very attentive yet we were not rushed. Our meals were beautifully presented and where applicable prepared as requested (steaks were perfect). There are many gluten free options and a few vegetarian options as well.The pianist, Scott, was the perfect touch to a relaxed atmosphere.There is a full bar and an extensive wine selection.The handicap lift was not working but there is a scissor lift in the back that was able to accommodate members of our group who could not navigate the stairs. Big plus that the owners had this available.It’s pricey but well worth the visit. I look forward to visiting again.”

“Ordered take-out. Got the blackened shrimp platter with seasonal vegetables and chicken sausage jambalaya. It was delicious. The dozen shrimp were cooked perfectly! The seasonal vegetables were good with just the right amount of seasoning. The jambalaya had lots of chicken and andouille sausage. Yum, I will certainly be back before my vacation is over. Service was quick and courteous. Highly recommended!”

“Late evening dinner after watching the sunset at Captiva. Great service, food had great flavors and presentation. We enjoyed the pizza, chicken Parm, fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccolini and a fish stew special of the night. Highly recommended for families And anyone visiting the area. Bonus, Live entertainment!”

“Brunch today was incredible. We knew it was going to be good by the packed parking lot and we were right. A short wait, but totally worth it. Ham and cheese omelette, stuffed French toast with strawberries, and stuffed pancakes topped with Oreos were all amazing. Side of bacon was cooked perfectly too. Their whole menu looks great and I cannot wait to try more. As busy as they were our food came out fast and hot and the servers were attentive and friendly”

“I was invited here by a friend who lives in the area. Don’t think I’ve ever noticed it before as it is very low profile. It is a true locals bar/hangout with basic beers and a few quick ets.”

“My family and I visited Shima tonight for my birthday. It was a very special night. We have been to Shima before and it has always been great. Tonight was no exception. We had Chef Laysel and he was terrific. (Note: All the chefs are great). Nicole helped to make it even better, as she always does. Overall, there is simply no better place to eat on Sanibel.”

“My wife and I went here in the first week of January 2024. We're from Fort Lauderdale and I'm working on Sanibel Island. We ordered the Shrimp White Pizza, the Chicken Wings, the Meatloaf, and the NE Clam Chowder to go. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We got chicken wings from two other places and didn't like either. The wings at Sanibel Grill were awesome.”

“Not sure what else is on the menu, but pizza here is great. Great traditional style pizza with good flavor. 5 star rating for two visits- good consistent pizza produced. Nice job. Would normally share pic of food prior to consuming, but was an afterthought here. So sorry, just partial pic of last tasty slice that was reheated at home. Good stuff. Like every place around holidays, and following hurricane, staffing limited, so service may not be at it's best with bit of wait time, but they still put out a great pizza.”
