“This was a very happy visit. I’ve been coming to Sanibel Cafe since the ‘80s. This was first time back since they reopened after the devastation from Hurricane Ian. Excellent food and exceptional service. After visiting around the island we stopped back so my daughter could buy a mug and jam ?♥️and our server remembered us from the morning. Perfect !“
“Such a great location for an ice cream shop! They have a tiny inside store and a few tables outside. The line looks intimidating but it moves quick! The flavors were kind of hit or miss. I wish they had descriptions for the original flavors so I didn't have to hold up the line while asking. My favorite was the cookie butter flavor. Unfortunately it wasn't available the second time I went so I ordered the cookies and cream and cookie dough instead. They were extremely disappointing because there was no cookie dough and only one bite of cookie. The vanilla ice cream tastes great but I am just not a fan of plain vanilla and it wasn't what I was looking for. Overall still great ice cream but you have to find a flavor that works for you! PS. They have premade pup cups which is an awesome perk!“
“We arrived about 45minutes before closing + they (about 3 staff members) were doing their clean up. We said we’d hurry and sit outside. They were so kind and reminded us that they didn’t close until 2 and that we were more than welcome to stay inside if we wanted to. They even told us about the park across the street, as we were visiting with young kiddos. Very friendly staff, welcoming environment, + their cold brew with oat milk was absolutely delicious!! Our 7-year daughter got a smoothie + ? from her as well. Thanks!!“
“I absolutely love big energy cafe! From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a friendly staff with a fun energy and vibe. The drinks and food are always fresh and delicious. You have to try the gluten free muffins! After working out at dream fit next door it’s a perfect spot to come for my protein shakes as well. Also kid friendly! My daughter loves the blue lemonade and croissants! 10/10 highly recommend! Best little hidden cafe in town!Kid-friendliness: Many fun drinks and kid friendly options“
“Get a taste of Italy at this cute cafe on McGregor. The second you walk through the door you are greeted in a friendly Italian way. The owners are very friendly and sweet just like the gelato and Italian desserts they offer. While we only had cappuccino and sweets they do have savory options such as panini, lasagna and quiche. The gelato flavors are plentiful and unique...if you're not sure what to have, you can sample the flavors to ensure you end up with the winner. Love the chalk wall as well...great personal touch to the interior of the cafe.“
“Awesome place, awesome food, awesome staff!!! This is my new go to spot for working instead of the usual Starbucks. I’m really impressed. Check out the backyard!! Try the Chocolate peanut butter latte!! Starbucks could learn a lot from this place :)Vegetarian options: Veg, eggetarian, pescatarian, omnivore, herbivore, or carnivore. Whatever kind of dinosaur you are ?Parking: Parking right outside. I can almost see my car and I’m sitting in the Backyard.Kid-friendliness: There were a few kids in here but they were quiet and well-behaved.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor and handicap parking is available.“
“Located in downtown Cape Coral area in a plaza with variety of food options. Great atmosphere and interior design is beautiful! Great for taking pictures for the media. The lemonades are delicious not too sweet or sour but the right amount of flavor and the milk tea taste great! Staff are welcoming and fast service. Definitely recommend if you want to grab a refreshing drink.“
“Best patio in the area to sit at probably of not just coffee places but any place that's not a park. Lived here a long time and not sure why parking in that area is so hard to come by. Not really any stores I personally use or even think are that popular in this area, other than whatever bank is there and I think a dollar tree. But Starbucks is large inside, in a new building, and a nice wooden large patio with palm trees all around.Parking: A lot of cars especially for punta Gorda and for that plaza, u will find a spot just might take 3 or 4 aisles and may have a little bit of a walk. Also a few cars in that small area can make traffic slow in parking lot.“
“We just moved here and we have tried quite a few local coffee shops. Penny's is by far the best of the best. Their coffee is fresh and food was delicious. Mike makes the best drinks and the service was great! We'll definitely be back“
“So so good. A little treasure on the Fort. Look for the food truck on Mango. The sandwich comes HIGHLY recommended as did the cinnamon roll. Neither disappointed. This cinnamon roll was did not skimp in the cinnamon which was freaking delish. The biscuits were perfection with my egg tomato and bacon. Tomato on my sandwich?? YES PLEASE“
“Great establishment and even better owners!!☺️?? I remember when they first opened a few years ago and the owner went door to door giving out free coupons for drinks!☕?☺️?️?✅?️ Now the line regularly runs into the street - they are obviously the best at what they do!!!???“
“This is a great spot for gourmands! I’m so glad we found this little gem. The service and food were outstanding! The Brussels sprouts with sriracha and miso are not to be missed, and the wagyu filet just melts in your mouth. They have an extensive cocktail and wine menu, but I chose the Pom mocktail, and they even made me another mocktail that wasn’t on the menu. Highly recommend Gather - we will definitely be back!“
“I love visiting the friendly faces of Perk & Brew! They are always so welcoming and make me feel right at home! My favorite menu item is the Breakfast BLT. They have award-winning food, but that BLT is my go-to!! And their coffee drinks are fantastic! Oh, and the baked items!!Stop by their cute little patio, choose a flavored iced tea to sip on, and say hi to the “Brew Crew” for me!“
“The only coffee place open while I was visiting FMB in Dec 2023! It's a black food truck set-up right off the main road with parking spots - They have tables set-up. I got a cold brew every morning & it was good - Definitely still recovering from the hurricane!“
“I overheard Noah describe the origins of the kava plant and what it meant to the indigenous people, and I was thoroughly impressed. I've heard it before, but he showed the value and the reason we continue the bula tradition. Well done??“
“It is a rare occurrence when a dining experience transcends the process of “consuming food”. The French Press special buffet on 12/24/2023 was one of these times. On this day a group of six of us were treated to superbly prepared and served food that made a sweet memory of Christmas 2023 for us all. The lobster Benedict was amazing with perfectly prepared poached eggs and generous mounts of lobster. The chorizo mini-egg burritos were perfectly spiced. Traditional offerings of bacon, scrambled eggs, lightly seasoned sausage gravy, along with orange zest infused waffles provided choices to satisfy any taste. There were bagels and lochs, fresh fruit, sliced meats/cheeses and fresh tossed salad with a variety of fruits and nuts added. On the “sweet” side of the buffet we relished a finely baked choice of bite-size chocolate croissants, cinnamon swirl cakes and raspberry-filled beignets, all made on-site by the resident pastry chef. To top this all off the French Press presented us with a choice of world-renowned Norman Love chocolates and orange-cranberry mimosas. The service was warm and helpful which is why we will be back soon to make another dining “memory” at the French Press!“
“Very good donuts! The staff here were excellent, too. I was a particular fan of the strawberry sprinkle donut, but I did not like the crème they used in the Boston crème and similar donuts at all—it had a plastic-y, chemical taste. Could have been a bad batch and the other folks with me liked them so it could also be me! Loved the store.“
“Great selection of pots and decorative items, and small gift shop area as well. Prices are good for the area (although I think all of the Pottery in SW Florida is pricey). Service is good and a cash discount. But bring a lot of it... you're going to want to buy a lot of stuff!“
“Usualy i dont write revews but this is an exception. Words cannot describe the food and service. They were so kind and even offered to take a picture of us and it was the best breakfast ive ever had. the restroom signs were the funniest.Vegetarian options: I didnt look through whole menu but some good vegie breakfastsKid-friendliness: They were super frendly and funny“
“I used suite night points for an upgrade. Easy friendly check in be prepared for a half hour ride from airport however if you're using Uber or Lyft. Ended up in a high floor corner suite in the Captiva building just ended up working out well for the view and quietness in the evening. This building also has its own swimming pool which is more private than the main building. It has a view of the causeway to Sanibel and the harbor area. Be prepared in the morning if you think you're going to go out to the island the traffic starts at 5:00 a.m. and doesn't stop until about noon with construction traffic headed out and then in the evening about 4:00 it starts coming back and goes till 7:00. The spa is not reopened yet there's still some work to do to finish cleanup from the storms on the property. The golf cart drivers get high marks for their quick and friendly service anytime they will take you from the main Hotel to the Captiva building and back. Was there for a conference and had several conference meals which were just fine. Fun bar scene. I'll end with the team here is doing all they can to keep everybody happy and comfortable while they work hard to bring everything back to 100%.“
“The Blend is a casual breakfast & lunch dining venue in the Shell Point retirement community. A nice menu and friendly prices. Dine in or out on the covered patio to enjoy the lake view. When your order is ready they call out your name...so a bit like Cheers, everyone knows your name.“
“My girl Crystal got me set up!! I told her about my allergy to almond milk (which is normally in the drink I got) and asked if she could switch it to 2%, and she was so accommodating and kind!! She washed her hands and cleaned the machine without me even asking her to! And my drink was delicious! Thanks, Crystal!“
“Best Starbucks around. Coffee is always exactly as ordered. Very polite staff. Only complaint is they sometimes "run out " of my preferred breakfast sandwhich.Parking: Not an issue with parking spaces per se, but driving a truck in the area, especially turning out of their drive through, is an inconvenience.“
“We had an unpleasant experience at a different Starbucks location and stopped at this one on our way home to fix our drinks. We were greeted by Yareli at the window who was so accommodating and kind as well as Jocelyn who fixed our drinks. I could not have asked for two nicer girls. These are the types of employees that every location should have.“
“I stop here often, and always forget to write a review. I love this convenience store. This store is always stocked nicely, it's always clean. Mike the cashier is always happy and makes it a pleasure to stop in and grab some items. They have a air and vac machine as well as fuel here. Parking on the other hand can be awful at times. Nicely done ?“
“Went here on a vacation about a month ago, was in the area and decided to stop and get a bite to eat. My Buffalo style chicken tenders were absolutely amazing. If you are looking for something quick and easy this is the place to go. The service was great, the owner was constantly cleaning tables, making sure cutlery, napkins and condiments were stocked. The tribute to Buffalo New York was a sight to see especially being in Florida. All together if you're looking for good food when you don't have a ton of time you need to stop here.“
