Went on a vacation to Sanibel Island and by far the best food! As a vegan, it’s difficult to eat out and not always the best tasting, but the food here was some of the best I’ve ever had! I was also with non-vegans that loved the food just as much as I did.
What a lovely, cozy cafe, such a pleasant spot with delicious smoothies, excellent coffee, and lots of tasty treats
My friends and I have been coming to Sanibel for 24 years. This year was hard for me personally. Recently diagnosed with Alpha Gal a severe allergy to many things including meat dairy eggs and others. Already was allergic to gluten. I was afraid I wouldn't have food options on the island until I found The Sanibel Sprout. Their coconut bacon BLT saved my life and I went there 5 out of 7 days. The Sanibel Sprout Cafe is a highly recommended spot. The cafe serves very good food and drinks, including iced coffees, açaí bowls with almond butter, yogurt bowls, and the Teddy Graham latte. The açaí bowls are considered the best and only real acai bowls on the island, with a non-sugary acai base. The cafe also offers fresh fruit smoothies and juices. The staff are kind, extremely nice, and well mannered. The atmosphere is super cute, relaxing, and inviting, with a calm and beachy aesthetic. Although some customers experienced issues with the service, the overall experience is great. The cafe is a must-visit, with many customers returning for their favorite dishes, such as the açaí bowl and the BLT. The Sanibel Sprout Cafe is a great place to enjoy delicious food and drinks in a welcoming environment.
