“Dining at Cielo was an exquisite culinary journey marked by exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled service. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted warmly. The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The pianist Scott McDonald’s skill was truly remarkable, effortlessly weaving together classical masterpieces and contemporary tunes with finesse and passion. Each note seemed to dance through the room, captivating our senses and igniting our emotions. The menu, a testament to the chef's dedication to innovation and quality, offered a tantalizing array of options to suit every palate. From the delicate flavors of the calamari fritti appetizer to the indulgent richness of the main course which included the Pan Roasted Ora King Salmon and the Porcini and White Truffle Ravioli with added scallops, every bite was a symphony of taste! But what truly set Cielo apart was the impeccable service. Attentive without being intrusive, our server Mathew, anticipated our every need, offering knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were always full. The staff worked seamlessly together, creating a dining atmosphere that was both refined and relaxed. In every aspect, from the cuisine to the service, Cielo exceeded our expectations for my birthday dining choice. It's clear that this establishment is committed to excellence in every detail, and we left feeling not just satisfied, but truly pampered. We can't wait to return and experience the culinary delights and impeccable hospitality once again.“
“CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE -About a 10 minute scenic bicycle ride from where we stay in Florida sits Sanibel’s American Legion Post 123. We’ve passed this place many times, always seeing the “Public Welcome” sign. I wondered what the deal was so I did a quick Internet search. The ‘typical’ review said “Best Cheeseburger on the island”. Really, could this be? On our last day in town Cindy and I took the bike ride, curious to check it out.If you prefer restaurants with a fancy decor and an extensive menu I recommend avoiding this place. You also may want to avoid it if you don’t like dogs. The Post Commander’s dog Abby is a Regular at the bar.If you enjoy hanging with some Veterans and real locals, while eating an incredible Burger with a cold Beer then this place is for you. The 8 ounce Burger was so good that I had to ask: “Is this a special blend of meat?” He said “No, but the local butcher grinds it to our spec, fresh every morning.”This was a great local experience and we’ll be bicycling there again.#CaptainCooksBackyard #AmericanLegion #eatlocal #sanibel #sanibelisland #cheeseburgers“
“This was a very happy visit. I’ve been coming to Sanibel Cafe since the ‘80s. This was first time back since they reopened after the devastation from Hurricane Ian. Excellent food and exceptional service. After visiting around the island we stopped back so my daughter could buy a mug and jam ?♥️and our server remembered us from the morning. Perfect !“
“this place now calls itself the BRGR restaurant as it has renewed itself after recovery from the hurricane Ian as part of the Sanibel Island Resort. They place is beautiful and a new favorite of mine. Had a Black and Bleu burger (relates to the name of the restaurant) with cole slaw and it was excellent! Very high quality, done just right, tasted wonderful and included bacon in the burger. Tried fries from one of our party and they were exceptional, great taste and crunch. Our server was friendly and took great care of our party. we parked our bikes at the rack behind the restaurant in the area where the parking lot leads back to palms and passes their pool (with bar) toward the path to the beach where they have lounge chairs that they furnish to guests on the beach that has recently had its sand replenished by the island. A great visit, we'll be back.“
“Great restaurant! Recommended highly on Reddit, and they didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious and our server, Karla, was fantastic.I recommend the fish dip, oysters, grouper tacos, and daily special (hogfish). All very tasty. Two areas for improvement:- Well/rail tequila wasn’t good; we switched to Don Julio and our margs were much better.- Blackened grouper portion was a little small.“
“This place was hopping and I can see why! The prices on Yelp are old prices, so don't be surprised when you go and it's more expensive. It's worth every penny and still more than affordable. It is like stepping back in time. This place is a well kept secret amongst locals. We both got omelets with hashbrowns and coffee. My wife got the chicken fajita omelet and it comes with sour cream and salsa. It was huge and it was delicious. I got The Combo omelet (meats) and had them smother it in gravy. Someone on here had mentioned the sausage gravy was better than their mother's, and I have to say, it is delicious. The owner's son came by and topped our coffee off and thanked us for coming in. I can tell you, this will be our go to breakfast spot going forward. Well worth it!“
“We celebrated my moms 70th bday. Upon making reservations we did mention the bday. Completely surprised to walk in and have the table decorated with party hats and table decorations. Also free dessert! They were wonderful to celebrate with and the steak was amazing!“
“Serving size is huge! Corned beef was amazing, fried crunchy swai fish was delicious. Matzo ball soup very good. Our server Jenny was so nice and gave us great suggestions! The owner was engaging and made us feel welcome. We will come back!“
“Finally got to visit front Porch, overall had a nice evening, small plates were yummy and cocktails were good, maybe could have a few more salad choices, our server Sam was excellent, recommended good choices from the menu, was engaging and attentive without being intrusive, we will be “
“Great lunchtime stop at Phuzzy's on a beautiful day! We were set outside right by the canal after about a 20 min wait. I had the crab corn chowder to start, which was delicious. For my main lunch, I opted for one of the specials, the 10 jumbo shrimp grilled in their honey orange blossom sauce. The shrimp was very tasty and loved their original sauce - not at all overly sweet, perfect balance of tang and sweet. My party shared a slice of their key lime pie, it skews towards the sweeter size just to know. Our server, Fernando, was very attentive and checked in on us often (despite it being so busy!) to make sure we had what we needed. The bar did seem to be a bit backed up when we went, so drinks did come out a bit slower. Would recommend for a fun place to grab some food and watch the boats on the canal!“
“We stumbled across this place after searching for someone that served espresso martinis and we were not disappointed, if you like them stronger, you should ask for light bailey's or no bailey's that's what I did on my second one, so delicious. The hubby had an Old Fashioned and it was perfect. We can't say enough about Miranda, she has an awesome sense of humor and so personable and attentive. We had already eaten but after looking at the menu decided we had to come back, and we did, the next day lol.“
“We arrived at 1PM for lunch on a Monday and just missed the crowds that arrived shortly thereafter .Service was friendly and quick in spite of near capacity seating. Our waiter Jake was friendly and attentive which makes for a nice dining experience. Jake was one of the best ! The food was delicious and the portions generous. In spite of the numerous patrons our food arrived in a very timely manner and Jake checked frequently to make sure everything was ok and if we needed beverage refills.Parking: Ample parking and the lot was good size but could use black top on the back portion that was unpaved and dusty due to wind gusts ?“
“Excellent experience. Food was great with generous portions and great ambiance with the live music and marina.Cannot say enough good things about the service and attention to detail Carlos provided. He even noticed the incorrect side of sauce was brought for our son’s order before we did! Will definitely dine here again.“
“A great place on FMB! Owners have helped so much with the rebuild of the island and have created a great establishment for both locals and tourists to enjoy! Great staff, vibe, music and rotating food trucks-just across the street from the beach! Can't wait for their new brick and mortar to break ground!“
“Did you know the Cyrstal in Shell Point is open to the public? The staff is super friendly. They treat you like family. The Chef and The Manager comes out of the kitchen to run food to the tables! Not because they were short staffed but because they wanted our group of 15 to eat together while the food was hot! They really cared!!“
“Update March 2, 2024: Hurc Ian wrecked us. We are visiting FL 'til we can get back. We find ourselves with our family at Lehnes Burger today! Did a very nice building update while we were up North. Very nice!BUT, the most important thing is THEIR BURGERS STILL ROCK! Seven of us eating various things off the menu and EVERYONE loved it! Add to that Holly our server was spot on! Throw in Jenny (owner) and yikes! Yes I still Highly Recommend Lehne Burger. Good food abounds here!Update: Highly recommend Lehne. We are regulars here. These people and this place, their food (burgers and salads) rock!!!First time visit. Good friendly service and all of us loved our burgers, fish and salad choices!Parking: Easy!“
“My wife and I have come here for years and the food has been consistently “good”. We both went there for dinner last night for the first time this year. Simply put? We were amazed! The meal wasn’t good, it was simply excellent. I’m not sure what they’ve done, but they have really upped their game from just being good to being the best meal that I have had in swfl in years. Best bruschetta and tropical salad I’ve ever eaten. And massive helpings. My wife had the lobster Mac and cheese and it was presented to the table with an entire lobster sitting on top of the dish. The meal and the service was perfect. Well done/Lighthouse! Our compliments and thank you for an incredible evening!Jim Dunn“
“I've been many times and have always had delicious food. Pizzas, fried chicken sandwich, Philly cheese steak, chicken tacos, but my favorite is the fried Haddock sandwich.Parking: Steph is a great cook and she usually checks up with customers to make sure they are satisfied and happy with their food. I'm enjoying new items on the menu too.“
“Being an Eagle member from another state, I know this location has a very open setting and is quite welcoming. Everyone was friendly, we got their before the live music, but the bartender was very helpful in letting us know everything that was happening in the time we were in town.“
“I can't say enough about Metro Dinner. Everything we've tried in the last week has been amazing. Food is delicious, food comes out hot, and service with a smile every time we've been there. Thanks to all off you for all you do. Great place.“
“Their oysters are consistently fresh, shucked correctly, and quite delicious. Not cheap but totally worth it if you want great raw oysters.4 stars due to the older waitress we’ve had multiple times now; I live close by and used to go quite often. She huffs and puffs, seems irritated by our presence, and has never had any knowledge about the daily raw oysters whatsoever despite it being a straight up oyster bar. Last time we were there was a little over a month ago, and it was only three of us in our party; she literally told us that she was irritated that we ordered cocktails because she had to make them. It was super uncomfortable and awkward.“
“I had lunch here twice in the last week. You would totally pass this place up by looking at the outside, Hurricane Ian did some damage to their awning and they have a tarp over it. But DON'T pass by, they have amazing food. First lunch I got the special which was 3 tacos, beef, chicken and grouper. Excellent. Second time the table got the grouper bites as an appetizer however for one person it would be a meal, soooo good. I got a hamburger as my meal. Excellent flavor. As I said don't pass this place by for lunch or dinner. Prices are extremely reasonable.“
“If we could give this place 10 stars just for the customer service, we would! The food and drinks were good, but Dianne really made the whole experience! She was especially great with all the kids at our table, brought us water bottles for the beach as we were leaving, and was all around incredibly attentive and had a wonderful attitude and was so sweet! Excellent service! We will be back just because of this!“
“My husband and daughter were in FL in December, my sister and boyfriend took us here. What a beautiful breathtaking place! The beach was stunning and the sunsets were amazing.food was so delicious and service was great! The atmosphere at the tiki bar was relaxing and fun!!Strongly recommend c!hecking thia place out“
“Our first time at the Buddha and THE BOOTS band burned up the stage. The house was full and ready to dance, drink, sing and have great time. THE BOOTS are stellar musicians and their vocals are the BEST around. Lead singer Kenny Cox is not only a skilled musician, he has real stage presence and knows how to carry the house along with him. Their brand of country includes old and new: Johnny Cash, Travis Tritt, Steve Earle, Merle Haggard, Jon Pardi, Garth Brooks, Kevin Chesney, etc. Needless to say, we will be back on Wednesday nights!“
“My family and I always make sure to stop for lunch/dinner on our way to Captiva. This year we arrived later and so we stopped by for lunch on our way back home. This is a clean, family friendly restaurant with friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great food! We are never disappointed and that's why it is our go to spot while in Ft. Myers.“
“We visited Sunshine Beach Tropical Grill for dinner on 9/21/22. This place is amazing! The view and food were fantastic! Our server, Becky, was wonderful. She was friendly and attentive; she handled all of our endless requests and was super quick attending to us! Doug was also great! My only complaint would be the construction that is being done during dinner time. It takes away from the ambiance!“
“So, the spot to be is called "the upper deck". This is a very pleasant bar and restaurant overlooking the bay. The hostess is one of the hardest working people I've ever seen at a restaurant. The chips and salsa and guacamole are always spot on. My guest had a fish sandwich And loved it also. Bartender and Wait staff are very attentive. Prices are slightly north of reasonable, but no complaints here. Been here twice in one week and will definitely be back.“
“Everything I have had here is so tasty. The service is good and the staff is friendly. The parking is not great, but there is street parking. There is also not a lot of space to wait inside if there is a wait, so be prepared to stand outside.“
“Great little local bar and grill. With plenty of indoor seating walls and walls of 65 in TV's. Even in the bathroom Hod forbid you miss any part of the game . Hahaha the food is reasonably priced the grouper tenders I highly recommend. They are the size of your whole hand. And super delicious. So are the fish tacos super delicious. . Hamburgers were equally great. The outdoor seats see super cute and right on the canal. Real nice views. Would definitely go here again.Parking: Plenty of Easy off street parkingWheelchair accessibility: All level Access flat ground to the door.“
“Bell Tower location. Isabella the manager was outstanding! Not only did she handle hosting/seating but also took on a 20 top and numerous other tables..AT THE SAME TIME. Never frowned or got frustrated. It was a busy night with Smokin Aces playing and the entire staff crushed it! Food was also really good!! Will be back soon for certain.“
“The food tasted great, me and my little sister had a good time. Both people on shift were very nice and kind, very professional and got our order very quickly. The waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a nice meal. Great staff, had a good experience at this waffle houseParking: Plenty of parking spaces availableKid-friendliness: The waitress was very kind and patient with my little sister“
“Absolutely fabulous first experience here! Celebrated our 25th Anniversary and everything from the wonderful staff to the delicious dinner was perfect. Special thanks to our sweet server Jessica and the manager who both were so kind and so accommodating! Made our evening just perfect! Highly recommended!!!“
“Wow! Exceptional staff and 5 star service. Special thanks to Nick, Kader and Carl for working with our daughter to make our 50th anniversary incredibly special. Room comfy & spacious, Food and drinks delicious. We will definitely return.“
“Duffys in Cape Coral is simply the best,it’s a clean well run place.2 for 1 drinks all day every day good food and apps and I really got to be good friends with 4 or 5 of the bartenders especially Brendan and Jenny on the outside bar they just rock it,and Kenise inside shes just a sweet girl always smiling and happy and Nikki plays the best music when she’s on.but they’re really all nice people, they work very hard to give you the best fun experience they can.I’m a snow eagle (not a bird) and I’m gonna miss these wonderful people until I return. But if your vacationing in Cape Coral it’s a must stop you won’t be disappointed.“
“Terrific local restaurant that is really busy, especially when there is a show at the Barbara B Mann theater just down the street. Reservations are a must. Excellent daily menu items in addition to their main menu. From escargot to mussels, that have a wide range of appetizers. And a dinner selection for everyone. The 3 of us had the ribs, chicken parm, and the scallops.. all 3 delicious. It's loud in there, but high energy. We were seated in Lauren's section, and she was excellent.“
“Great place to have a few beers and cocktails and watch sports. Or celebrate St Paddy's Day work live ROCK music. The outdoor patio is large and comfortable.Parking: A large lot in a central location.Kid-friendliness: More of an adult hang out, but kids are welcome.“
“Mahi sandwich was awesome. We were there for happy hour. 2 for 1 Margaritas on the rocks, wine was 2 for $8. Wife got crab cakes. She said they were so so. My friends got the happy hour special wings and clams. His wife got the Grouper dinner and loved it. They were really busy but we got a table right away and our server Wendy was spectacular!!“
“The Blend is a casual breakfast & lunch dining venue in the Shell Point retirement community. A nice menu and friendly prices. Dine in or out on the covered patio to enjoy the lake view. When your order is ready they call out your name...so a bit like Cheers, everyone knows your name.“
“The Reuben was to die for, and so big I couldn't eat it all, but I tried!! My husband and nephew had the steakout burgers, my friend had the hangover burger, and OMG the fries!! Well worth every penny we spent. Very affordable compared to some of the other spots on the beach!! We were all very happy with it. Even brought some of the fries back and my brother in law demanded to know where to get more!! 10/10 recommend.“
“All the waiters and waitresses are so attentive. The roast beef is excellent and I love the food and the drinks are awesome. I always try to write a good review when the bill is brought to me. The greeters are also very friendly and always try to seat me at my favorite tables.“
“We were pleasantly surprised !Group of 9 on a busy Sunday we still got in right away. Service was fantastic and food came out promptly. Good selection of local beers, delicious cocktails for a great price (highly recommend the toasted coconut colada ) Shrimp and grits were phenomenal, flavor and cooking was on point. Fish sandwich was excellent, very fresh, sweet potato fries were worth the up charge. Southwest salad with blackened shrimp was large and full of good quality ingredients, they did not skimp on the good stuff:) their signature Yucatán shrimp was fun as a starter, nicely shared amongst 4 people. Crab cakes and coleslaw were great app or enough for a meal, nice balance of flavors good amount of crab. All closed out nicely with a key-lime coconut candy as you walk out the door. We will be back!Vegetarian options: Easy to make adjustments to options if neededDietary restrictions: Easy to make adjustments to options if neededWheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp at the front“
