We live on the island full time. I have one question.....why are you not open for lunch???This makes so little sense from a business perspective and is very frustrating for those of us who enjoy Dantes but tend to do lunches out rather than dinners.
To start the location alone is worth the price of admission. Easy access from Fort Meyers, not to far into the island, but still has a middle of nowhere private resort feel. Easy access to all the good restaurants (shout out to Light House Cafe, awesome breakfast, owner Dan is so nice and personable). The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and well taken care of. Arrived by plane at noon on Saturday 24th. Front desk let us check in 4 hours early as we were tired from our flight which was super great customer service. We had lunch and a beer and a margarita at the poolside bar on Sunday 25th. The bartender was efficient and friendly and answered questions about Bowman's beach/snorkeling. Room was clean and modern. Can't say enough good things about Sanibel Inn. The room maid asked us if we needed anything too. We are definitely coming back!
