This place is no longer there. We got a Lyft that took us there and we discovered AFTER we left the driver that the place was taken out in hurricane. Google needs to update this. We sent suggestion to Google to mark as closed.

What they don't tell you is you can't drive there if you call for directions they don't know how to get there either !! May be great for locals but all I can say is good luck.

Arrived by plane at noon on Saturday 24th. Front desk let us check in 4 hours early as we were tired from our flight which was super great customer service. We had lunch and a beer and a margarita at the poolside bar on Sunday 25th. The bartender was efficient and friendly and answered questions about Bowman's beach/snorkeling. Room was clean and modern. Can't say enough good things about Sanibel Inn. The room maid asked us if we needed anything too. We are definitely coming back!

We only go when Candace is working. She makes the best drinks on the menu plus some that aren't.

We live on the island full time. I have one question.....why are you not open for lunch???This makes so little sense from a business perspective and is very frustrating for those of us who enjoy Dantes but tend to do lunches out rather than dinners.

To start the location alone is worth the price of admission. Easy access from Fort Meyers, not to far into the island, but still has a middle of nowhere private resort feel. Easy access to all the good restaurants (shout out to Light House Cafe, awesome breakfast, owner Dan is so nice and personable). The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and well taken care of. Steps from the beach. Gulf view room was lovely. Yes like some of the reviews stated, it is a little dated, it is a beach resort hotel that has been there for some time. If you want something new and modern stay off the island with no beach access and then drive to Sanibel Island to see all the natural beauty. Everything was clean. It was off season so the were no shortage of amenities. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Sanibel Inn for making my wife's birthday a great one!

Hubby and I are spending 2 nights at Sanibel Inn to celebrate our anniversary. While the unit is a bit outdated the view and location were excellent. I also wanted to give a job well done to the housekeeping staff there. I came across a staff member on my way in to my unit and asked for a few extra coffee pod refills. Within 5 minutes she brought me 4 additional coffee pods. However, they were the wrong size which I didn’t realize until after I got back inside. I quickly found another staff member and asked her for the smaller size pods. And again within 5 minutes she made her way back to our unit with the correct size and she was smiling genuinely seemed happy to accommodate my small request. It really is the kind little things that employees do that makes a stay a memorable one!

The actual outdoor resort was beautiful. Very manicured pathways to the pool and beach. The room was another story! It was dated, had run down furniture and the carpet was stained and dirty! The bathroom was full of tiny ants and wasn’t cleaned properly. Overall, disgusting! I complained to the manager. He was apologetic and upgraded us to a newer building. Still had ants in the bathroom. I do not recommend this inn.
We have stayed here about 6 times now in the last few years and love it. We always stay in a condo unit for extra space and it is worth the upgrade. Everyone from the front desk, to the rec staff that put out chairs to the tiki bar staff (especially Casey) are super wonderful and helpful!! Great amenities here and very clean. Also we really love Dante’s pizza!! We look forward to it every visit. We will always come back here to stay when on Sanibel!!

Went for spring break 2022. Suite was clean and very spacious. Kitchen was very poorly stocked, however. Mom left her wallet at the bar accidentally and upon retrieval noticed cash missing! Resort was great location wise! Loses stars for kitchen and theft. Would go again I’d just bring my own kitchen stuff and keep an eye on the wallet!

Maggie C. was a great tour guide with loads of knowledge and passion to share with us. We liked learning about some of the island history of Sanibel and of course about shells. We’re very glad we did it. Plus the necklaces were a nice treasure to keep. Thank you!

Maggie was a great guide and showed us so many cool things on the beach! From the vegetation to the shells and critters - her knowledge and bubbly personality were enjoyable! Free for guests of the Inns of Sanibel and definitely worth doing one morning!
