Bongo's Beach Bar & Grill

2nd time visiting Bongo's. Fantastic experience.

Our experience at Bongo's Beach Bar & Grill was a great one. Definitely plan on going back in the future. Awesome location for live music. The wings were probably some of the best wings that we have found here in SWFL. The Beverage Manager, Toby, was a delight to talk to. He checked in on us a couple of times, and we talked music with him. Toby made it a personal experience rather than all business. That's exactly what we appreciate when it comes to taking care of customers.

This is way past bar food, the menu selection was as amazing as the food served. I don’t know how you get this quality of food with the surroundings they offer as you dine.

Vegetarian options: No issues a wide variety of options and they don’t get upset with changes or requests. Chop chop salad is to die for.

My husband and I went here for lunch. The fish came out under cooked and the shrimp were greasy. When receiving the bill, we noticed that it had an automatic 18% service fee. When we asked the server she said this was the tip. If we hadn't looked at the receipt closely, we would have added a tip on top of this. When we talked to the manager he said that fee was on any resort on fort myers beach. This isn't true!!! Diamond head and even Margaritaville don't charge this. Beware of over priced greasy food with hidden charges.

Located at the pool area (other pool is ongoing renovations), family atmosphere, tipical fast food ( had chicken sandwich 7 out of 10 with fries 7 out of 10 and a coke .18% tip automatically added to check, no cash.

I hope the 18% service charge was auto gratuity, otherwise just raise your prices to reflect that so customers know what they are paying when they order and how to tip properly.

Superb menu of very creative menu items that include fresh fish, shrimp, steak, or chicken. The setting is absolutely beautiful, next to the ocean and the resort pool. Service was friendly and attentive and prompt. Prices are reasonable. This was a very enjoyable sunset dinner. Excellent choice for a great dining experience.
