Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille - Ft. Myers Beach

We love Doc Ford’s, but our last visit was not my favorite… we were upcharged for the fish sandwich and the house wine w/o being asked. We were also seated outside on a chilly day, when we specifically requested indoors. We know it’s a busy time of year with Spring Break, but please be honest and straightforward with your customers, DocFords.

Yucatan shrimp are best I have ever had!

“I had an amazing experience at yesterday! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and attentive. But the cherry on top? When I finished my meal, they surprised me with an Oreo cookie 2-pack! I was totally shocked (in the best way). It’s the little things like this that really make a place stand out. Lively place with good food, at a reasonable price. Very casual atmosphere, so you can visit dresser as you are. Also, it's on the water, so you can eat on the dock, if there's a spot available.

We had an amazing dinner last night at Doc Fords. Steak was excellent and my MIL gets the paella every time we go. This is a must stop during our annual stay on FMB. Server Austin was great and made sure we had everything we needed.

I would not get the spinach and artichoke flatbread.... spinach was gross, they must use frozen spinach nd the artichokes come from a can...bit into a piece and the brine exploded in my mouth twas not appetizing at all...I wouldn't come back nor bring someone here other local places that are much better...the Captiva location is much much much better

Awesome bar and Grille to hang out with friends and family and have a really good meal. The food was great. the service was awesome, and the atmosphere was fun.

Nothing like kicking back and listening to some music, eating great food, and talking with friends and family while looking out over the water.

I knew my husband & I made the right decision to grab dinner here when I heard someone that was in line in front of us say “this is the place that Floridians bring their guests who are visiting out of state”. And my belief was affirmed with the exceptional service and delicious meal we received. I cannot say enough great things about our server, Justin! He was so kind, knowledgeable of the menu & delivered top notch service. We will be definitely be back if we are ever in the area again!

Sat at bar for dinner. Bartender, too worried about washing glasses and not doing much just BSing with servers, as he ignored my wife and I when it wasn't even busy and was slow.... This guy needs to get it together and learn customer service skills. Bar is wrong fit for him. I have always had great experience in the past here, but expect better than this.
