Fish Tale Waterfront Dining

Excellent meal, beautiful view and super service.

Before season starts, we were able to get a table and enjoy the atmosphere. Delicious cocktails galore; sorry I had a Bloody Mary (spicy). Menu had many selections. We jumped on their crab cakes. Photo attached to crab cake with their berry greens salad. Entrees and sandwiches available too. Desert we tried their key lime pie. Big slice to share. Comfortable chairs. Pleasant hostess and waitress. Informal dress acceptable. Tables are both inside and outside. Marina there if you boat in. You’ll enjoy here.

Great food! Love to sit outside. My waiter Barry was very friendly and courteous. Had a wonderful experience.

Went for lunch, had drinks and Wings, Ceviche and Southwest Tuna. All was excellent, nice atmosphere, great staff, Tom was great. Reasonable prices and good sized portions.

I've dined here several times, both under old and new management. The new management is on it. They are attentive and collect customer feedback at every opportunity, customer service is great, and the menu is getting better (they are adding more wines to the bar menu this fall too). My go-tos are peel and eat shrimp, seafood baskets, crab cake, and really anything seafood. The food is "clean", which is rather atypical for the area as most places have fried, over-dressed, greasy food, but here I'm left satisfied and feeling good after a meal.

Enjoyed lunch with friends. Mulled mint Mojito hit the spot altho on the expensive side. Beet & goat cheese salad one of the best I've had - dressing was light and topped with crushed walnuts. One friend had grouper sandwich with bacon - very good, especially with homemade potato chips. Service was very good, so we'll be back again!

Our group of 14 was so disappointed in the unprofessionalism of the Manager, "Steve" when we arrived to have lunch and drinks. All of us go to this restaurant many times a month and spend a great deal of $$$, however due to his rudeness and actions we will not be returning.

We went in yesterday with a group, 2 boats, 13 people, empty dining room, 4 people at the bar. Ordered around 10 appetizers and drinks for everyone to start out. Our server was great, nice and was happy he had a 13 top! Unfortunately the manage Steve needs to go back to management 101!! Our entire group canceled our order and drinks, and went somewhere else because of STEVE the MANAGER ??‍♀️His unprofessional attitude and actions just lost our business. Also the guest we had with us will no longer be back! We are all local business owners and live here all year long on FMB who like to support our beach business. But Mr.Steve the Manager has ruined that. Hopefully this will be handled in the right way and dealt with. Until then I feel bad for the servers and staff who are GREAT and always go above and beyond to give the best service. It’s unfortunate that one bad apple ruins the whole pie!! Hopefully this will reach proper channels to be resolved.

Service was impressive! Kiana our waitress was so attentive and sweet! The scallops were delicious as were the grouper bites. I was a bit worried as I had read a previous bad review but that was definitely NOT our experience. We loved everything and will be back!

As full time residents on the beach, Fishtale was once a nice spot for the locals to get away from the craziness of the Time Square area and enjoy tasty food, a great view and awesome staff. We, personally, would frequent 3-5 times a week and referred to everyone as our “Fishtale Family”. What has happened as of 2022 is that Fishtale has been bought by the Phelan group, which owns Pinchers. We have never and will never visit a Pinchers as we do not support chain restaurants and would rather support small businesses, like it was. Since then, it has become exactly what you’d expect - lower quality food at higher prices and honestly it’s embarrassing to see what it’s become. We were excited initially for a few new menu items but having an almost $30 crab cake with a disclaimer of “So fresh you may get some shell” isn’t my idea of a good addition. They couldn’t even be bothered to come up with something different with that, as it’s exactly the same description of the crab cake at Pinchers. We strictly go back to support the staff that remains from the old owners.

We went with a party of 16 and we’re seated right away. The food was excellent Beautiful waterfront view. Our waitress was outstanding! Thank you.

My wife and I chose to sit inside due to the heat on a 90 degree day, but it wasn't any cooler inside than outside. All the windows were open, and it was open to the outside patio. My wife got the grouper bites appetizer, and I got the grouper entree. Both were very good until I found a bone in my grouper. They gave us a free slice of key lime pie, but they put raspberry sauce on it that takes away from the key lime flavor. We didn't ask for raspberry sauce on it. Our server was very nice, but I don't think we'll be back.

Awesome place. We were pleasantly surprised at Fish Tale. Very clean establishment with a great staff. The menu has a great variety to satisfy any taste. We would definitely recommend Fish Tale to all friends and family.

Staff was bery friendly and helpful! I have a severe seafood allergy and the manager came out and spoke to me about good choices. The alfredo was excellent and the key lime oie was to die for! Very highly recommended.

Enjoyed a wonderful me by the water. Great food and service.
