Dinner tonight at Island View restaurant (in Lanl Kai Resort) on Ft. Myers beach. Our second time there and even better than the first! Great food and view of the beach, gulf six stories below.....and a sultry lounge singer crooning some familiar tunes while we ate. To begin, some specialty drinks at happy hour prices....then chilled gulf oysters on the half shell, spicy baked clams Francesco, steamed mussels in garlic and wine, clam chowder, Caesar salad. And their famous warm...
Wait until the upstairs is remodeled. No pizza oven for the temporary dining. We left without ordering since no pizza available. The bright spot was Dave the waiter. If you decide to go please ask for him by name
Wonderful meal, great atmosphere and value. Everything was delicious.
Parking: Plenty of it and easy to maneuver wheelchair or canes and walkers.
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor dining has space to burn off some energy while waiting for you meal.
