PierSide Grill and Famous Blowfish Bar

So sad this place was totally wiped out Ian, my prayers to the owners and workers that depended on this.

If you go to this restaurant, be sure to get the calamari and grouper. It is the best in the area. The view is right on the beach. The service was excellent. We will be returning on our next visit to the Beach.

Spent 2 weeks in Fort Myers and visited here a few times while there. Great food, attentive staff and a beautiful view. Prices I felt were reasonable for the area. The beach bread was delicious! We hope to visit again one day soon.

My girlfriend and I went there last night for appetizers, mock tails and the beautiful view. It was delightful. I had the mango ceviche and she had the guacamole salsa. Both were good, but honestly I was impressed with the mock tails. I think the one had passion fruit and it was delicious!!!

Next to the beach and close to the pier, great view on the sunset, great burger (bacon, cheese and bbq sauce), great baby ribs abd nice cocktails

We're not overly finicky food-wide, so diehard foodies - ignore our review! lol. We really liked this place. The atmosphere was great. The cocktails were very well made - kudos to the bartenders here - and an incredibly good deal during happy hour, as they don't water down the pour like many places do at happy hour. Only minor criticism is the draft beer - they seem to serve it a bit warm - one of the times we dined was during a humid evening - I was really craving an ice cold beer. It was "cool", but nowhere near cold, let alone ice cold. The menu is fine - nothing knocked our socks off, but everything we ordered was cooked well, prepared simply and tasted great, at fairly reasonable prices for a beachside spot. Salads, grilled chicken sandwiches, burgers. As we're not big time foodies or seafood connoisseurs, will let others who are speak to quality of that. But if you like a lively beach bar with strong drinks at good prices, good bar food and very friendly smiling servers who epitomize great service, (shout out to Tammy!!), this is your spot. We intended to try each place only once, but ended up returning to PierSide a couple of times.

We visited to enjoy a nice view of the pier and the water. It’s a beautiful location and right on the beach. Service was great, and they have a huge selection of mixed drinks. Husband had the grouper, and it was prepared fine. I had the Marty’s special. Overall, great view and location, but if we returned we would go for drinks and to enjoy live music.

Delicious food! Friendly fast Staff and nice view. Loved the ceviche and shrimp burger. Frozen drinks were great!Nice bar on the beach.

Nothing special here. Restaurant is right by the pier so people watching is fun. Service was prompt and polite. Meal for a couple burgers, tenders and chicken sandwich was well over $60. No alcohol. No soda. Wasn’t impress.

Service was friendly, drink was delicious and refreshing, and the stuffed mushrooms were so freakin' amazing! Had a live singer and just loved the atmosphere of the place!

Awesome place. Atmosphere was wonderful. Eating outdoors right up on the beach and of course next to the pier. Service was great, live band, outside seating with an umbrella, and great food. The blackened mahi-mahi was great paired with a heaping serving of veggies!

Waitstaff was great, food was OK, steak was mediocre. Asked for medium rare, got cold flavorless medium well. Everything else was good though. Just not great. The location makes up for it I guess.

Family of 4 had dinner on a weekday night.Our server , Andre,was fantastic. We ordered coconut shrimp, crab cakes, and a bacon cheeseburger. The food was out in a reasonable time. The entrees were all very good, and the Cole slaw was excellent. Wou!d definitely return, if we make it back to the area.

Ok, most people that know me know I love my Brandy Manhattans. When I find a bartender that knows how to make Manhattans, and a bar that carries Brandy, I am a happy boy. This place is right on the water. Great views of the water and pier. A great place to go get a drink and watch the sunset.
